A day to remember!.

I scanned the back of the restaurant again and let out a sigh of relief. No one was watching me. But confusion still lingered in my mind.

I turned to face him, hoping he could provide some answers. But there was no old man in sight. Who was he talking about? And then it hit me. "He was referring to himself as the old man, what the hell," I exclaimed to myself, my face contorted in surprise.

He let out a scoff and a smile played on his lips. "Took you eternity to realize it, huh?" he teased, pulling out his phone.

I rolled my eyes, still in disbelief. "Not like that, I mean what a trick," I said, taking a big gulp of my juice.

After finishing my meal, I finally took in my surroundings. The interior of the restaurant was breathtakingly beautiful. I looked around in awe, admiring the stunning decor.
