A nurse knocks at my door vigorously before entering. My immediate annoyance was evident as she instructs me to get up and hands me a flattering pantsuit brought by my previous housekeeper for court.“You’re due in court in an hour. The car ride to the courthouse is silent for the most part. I fumble on thoughts of what I could say to ease my sister’s mind but each time I think of something, it seems almost ridiculous. I can feel Leo’s eyes watching my every move as I get ready to leave for the courthouse. After my little performance with my therapist, he quickly dialed the nurse to return me to my room. I believe his excuse was that I was tired and needed rest.
