Nathan’s POV

Oh, shut up! I thought to myself. Why do they need to keep going on about the “potential” the company has? I don’t care. I’m buying the company to break it up. As of tomorrow, Blake Industries will be no more. Don’t people understand that’s what I do? I swear if I hear the word potential one more time…

“Dr. Michaels,” my PA spoke, “Are you in agreement?” He slowly and inconspicuously nodded his head.

“Yes,” I responded. “It was nice doing business with you, gentlemen.”  We shook hands. Thank God that was over.

Samuel, my PA, followed me out the door. He advised me of all the upcoming appointments for tomorrow.

“I’ve cleared your schedule for the rest of this afternoon. Mr. Michaels is asking for your presence at the hospital.”

I sighed, “Tell him I’ll be there in half an hour.”

My grandfather’s requests were never to be ignored. Even in his old age, he demanded respect from everyone around him. He was a powerhouse, and everyone in the finance sector and beyond knew it.

I wonder what he wants this time. I thought to myself as I climbed into the backseat of my limo. It was probably to scold me again about not being married. Honestly, I was only 25 years old; what was the rush? I was single and having fun, lots of fun. I had only ever had one serious relationship, but I was young and unprepared for commitment. Why would I shackle myself to one woman when there was a smorgasbord of flavors to taste, and boy, did I have a huge appetite? I smirked, thinking about the brunette I had left at the hotel last night. She had the perkiest round tits of any woman I’ve ever been with. She was the type of girl; I was almost willing to break my rule over…. almost. I never slept with the same woman twice. It saved the hassle of them getting attached or needy. I didn’t want my life to get messy.

Marcus, my driver, pulled me out of my thoughts by announcing we were at the hospital.

“I shouldn’t be more than an hour, Marcus. I’ll message you if I’m going to be longer.”

“Yes, sir. See you in an hour.”

I headed towards the cafe in the hospital lobby to grab my grandfather his large dark roast coffee and chuckled as I heard in my head. “Nathaniel, don’t think about stepping in this room without my coffee.”  He was a demanding older man, but I loved him more than anyone.

Standing in line, I glanced around the café, looking at the people going about their days. My heart stopped. Who is that?

In the corner, tucked away at a small table, was a woman. No, not a woman. A goddess. Even though she was slouched over and crying, she was stunningly beautiful. My cock sprang to attention. She took my breath away. Long, luxurious, dark chestnut curly hair pulled back in a ponytail. Creamy pale skin that was begging to be caressed. She wore a Columbia hoody and leggings, but I could tell a prize hidden underneath them. Her angelic face was tear-stained, and when she looked up with her big brown eyes, my heart broke for her. Why was she so sad? I felt compelled to walk over to her when my thought was interrupted.

“Next,” the barista yelled.

“Sorry,” I said as I moved forward.

The barista swooned at the sight of me. It was nothing I hadn’t faced countless times. I was good-looking, I knew that. Women threw themselves at me all the time. It had come to the point that I would be more shocked if they didn’t flirt.

“I’ll have a large dark roast coffee, black, please.”

“Yes, sir.” She said as she batted her eyelashes at me, “Can I get you anything else? Anything…at…all?” She pushed her chest forward and bit her lip.

“No, that’s everything, thank you.”

A pout appeared on her lips, and she scurried off to pour the coffee.

While waiting, I turned to catch another glimpse of the saddened goddess, and an empty table greeted me.

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!

Who was she, and where did she go?

Samuel’s POVTiff isn’t answering my calls, and she’s not responding to my texts. What the fuck did I do wrong? I don’t understand. The other night was basically the best night of my life. I know that it was hers, too, but here I am about to arrive at Carrington’s mansion for the rehearsal and dinner with no word from her. Perhaps I can speak with her alone when I get there.I pull up to the front of the mansion, and Carrington has valet parking. Of course, he does — nothing but the best for Carrington. I walk in the front door and walk into organized chaos. There have to be 20 people working on decorating for the big day tomorrow. I catch my pretty little Red over with Morgan. She doesn’t look up at me at all. I wanted to run over to her, take her in my arms, and steal every one of her breaths with my kisses. I will bide my time, though.“Samuel!” Carrington exclaimed. “Great, everyone is here, now we just need the bride and groom. Come have a drink.”“Am I late?” I asked, puzzled.“

Samuel’s POVI checked the security camera for my place, and Tiff is no longer there. I sent her a text.Samuel: Hey, my beautiful Red. Hope you have a wonderful day. See you tonight :)There was no reply. She must be busy, so I’ll try her again later. I can honestly say I’ve been completely unproductive today. I was attentive and on point at the three meetings, but as far as any time spent at my desk, I was a pylon. I just sat at my desk and thought about every curve of my sweet little Red.“Knock, knock,” Cynthia said, leaning on the door of my office. In the past, I would have jumped at her beck and call, but now, she was my past. Tiff is now my future and is better than anything I had with Cynthia.“Hey Cynthia,” I said, leaning back in my chair. “What brings you to floor forty-two?”“Now, now, Samuel. Is that any way to greet me?” Cynthia purred as she entered my office, closed the door, and put on the privacy glass. “It’s been a long time, Samuel.”Cynthia slinked over to my des

Samuel’s POVI hated getting up and leaving her, but I had a really important meeting first thing this morning. We were up most of the night as I couldn’t get enough of my sweet little pretty one. By the time we slept, Red was exhausted. So, here I am in the shower, regretfully washing off the smell of sex and of Red. I wish she were in the shower with me, but I don’t have the heart to wake her up. When my alarm went off this morning, she didn’t even flinch.Peter is a fucking idiot for leaving her, but I’m certainly glad he did. Every inch of her body was made for me. Last night, I think I touched, licked, or kissed every inch of her, too. I don’t think Peter ever worshipped her like the goddess she is. Well, fuck you, Peter, she’s mine now, and she will never settle for less than what I can give her, and right now I’m willing to give her everything, including my soul.I hopped out of the shower and headed to my closet. I chuckled to myself, remembering how she ripped the buttons off

Tiff’s POVI slowly crawled along the mattress. Something in Samuel’s command lit my inner sex goddess. I didn’t know if I looked it, but I sure felt it.“Fuck. Yes. Just like that, Red,” Samuel groaned. When I reached Samuel, I kneeled up, grabbed the front of his dress shirt, and pulled it open, hard. Buttons flew everywhere. I had seen it done in a movie and had always wanted to try it; it actually worked!“Hey,” Samuel smirked. “That was my favorite shirt.”“Oh, I’m so sorry,” I gasped.“I’m teasing, Red,” Samuel chuckled.I play slapped Samuel on the chest and giggled. My hand lingered on his rock-hard chest. Fuck, he must work out constantly.“Getting rough with me, Red?” Samuel chuckled as he shed his shirt to the ground.I went to lift my hand off his chest, and Samuel stopped it. He dragged my hand down to his belt.“I still need help with these,” he grinned.I gulped hard, and my other hand went to his waist.“Don’t be timid, Red,” Samuel said in a low rolling growl.Fuck. I

Tiff’s POVSamuel drove so fast on the way back to his place that everything was a blur. We pulled up to a brownstone façade building.“You live in a brownstone?” I said, shocked.“Yes, are you surprised?” Samuel asked.“How much is Nathan paying you?” I giggled.“It’s actually a family property I inherited when my Aunt passed away,” Samuel advised.“Oh, I’m sorry for your loss,” I uttered. “I didn’t mean to be so rude.”“You weren’t rude,” Samuel said, touching my face. “I like that you’re curious.”“It must be hell to find parking,” I declared.“Actually, I have a parking spot across the street. I thought I’d drop you off so you don’t have to walk,” Samuel informed me.“I can walk with you,” I said, smiling.“Are you sure?” Samuel asked.“Positive,” I affirmed.“Ok,” Samuel grinned. “You’re the first girl ever to say that.”Samuel pulled out into the road and turned into the parking garage across the street.“How many girls have you had over, man whore?” I joked.Samuel laughed loud

Samuel’s POVTiff and I have been missing each other on text for the last two days. I’ve been so busy with acquisitions that I’ve been at the office day and night. I did, however, manage to convince her to meet me for dinner this evening. It’s 7:00 pm, and I’m seated at a table at the Modern, when I see Tiff walk in. She is dressed in a sage green floral dress. She looks edible. Classy with a hint of mischief.I stood up and pulled the seat out for her as she approached.“I hope I didn’t keep you very long, Samuel,” Tiff exclaimed, then she sat down. “Thank you, Samuel.”“You’re not late, I just enjoy the opportunity to watch my date walk into the restaurant,” I grinned, retaking my seat. “You can tell a lot about a woman by how she carries herself.”“Well, I’d love to hear what intel you gathered from me walking in,” Tiff smirked.“You don’t take any crap. You’ve been known to take down people who disrespect your friends,” I stated. “You like sports over ballet, but you are a true th
