Chapter 15 ~ A distraction

“I know what you’re doing,” Kiana mumbled as sleep started consuming her. It had gotten late and Juliana had to leave because she couldn’t let her young sister sleep on her own. Arthur had walked in and found Kiana in a state of shock and wide awake making him extremely worried.

“What am I doing?” Arthur asked as he brushed Kiana’s hair smoothly making her lean in closer. Arthur was highly affected by Kiana and it took great control for him to keep his hands down when all he wanted to do was to pin her and kiss her senseless claiming her in every way known to mankind but he couldn’t... “Trying to distract me. You know, I don’t know why you’re here this time. But I’m okay.” Kiana said as she turned her head to look up at him and found Arthur staring down at her with a warm gaze in gorgeous hazel eyes.
