Chapter 2 ~ Used

“How long has this been going on?” Kiana trembled as her legs gave out and she collapsed on the floor. Daniel grabbed his boxers and walked towards her and knelt before her before whispering.

“I never loved you! You make my skin crawl and now that I have no use for you, there is no need for me to pretend.” He slowly started raising his voice while he grabbed a fistful of her hair pulling it hard and painfully.

“Haha! She is delusional babe. Well, you were going to get the surprise sooner or later but since you decided to snoop around. Why don’t we gift you with a little something?” Annabel smirked and she pulled out her phone and threw it at Kiana. It was so sudden that it landed on her face making her face bleed from the impact as the pain stung her.

"Ouch!" Kiana cried.

“Pathetic! Look at her!” Daniel said sarcastically. Kiana touched her now bleeding face as she looked at Daniel who looked like a totally different person. It’s like she didn’t even know who the man standing before her was. She painfully turned to look at the video before her and she let out a scream of shock.

"Oh my God!"

It was Juliana! Tied to a chair as a bullet echoed and went straight into her head making her lifeless body fall to the ground. Anna’s laughter rang out as she held her stomach to take breaks.

“You even find this funny?” Kiana asked in shock unable to find her voice anymore. “How long have you been planning this why have you killed her?” Kiana whispered the questions but Daniel who was now at Anna’s side rolled his eyes.

“Well, technically, it’s been a while since we met. You acted like a little spoiled princess and stole my first love. Humiliated me and so, I'm here to return the favour. It was extremely painful playing your little best friend for so long but looking at you now, I can say it was worth it!” Anna smirked.

“As for your little secretary, well you killed her! You really shouldn’t let your anger issues get the better of you.” Daniel commented in his tormenting tone. Kiana who was still in tears and burning in fury screamed.

“I don’t have anger issues but I will make you two pay for what you have done!” Kiana vowed as she tried to stand but couldn’t.

Daniel and Annabel looked at each other and then turned back to her in laughter. “But the reports from your psychiatrist say that you do. Also, how will you make us pay when you can’t even move?”

'But I've never had a Psychiatrist my entire life! What are these two up to?' Kiana thought in fear but came up empty.

Their words sank into Kiana as she realized that while she was fuming angrily, Daniel must have injected her with a drug! She saw the syringe right in her hand but she couldn’t move and now she couldn’t even speak. ‘How could the only people I considered as my family do this to me? Oh, poor Juliana I should have believed you instead of treating you harshly.’ Kiana thought as she fell to the floor laying down.

Before she lost consciousness she heard Annabel speak, “Now you will need to hand over the CEO position to me. As for this bitch, Let’s burn her alive and rule it as suicide! Your father has political connections! It won’t be too hard to close this case!”

“Of course baby. Will you Marry me now?” Daniel asked.

Kiana couldn’t even hear her response because she had lost consciousness.

Heat, pain, and smoke filled her lungs when she realized that she was in her vacation home. But the house was on fire! It only took a moment for her to remember Anna’s voice. ‘Now you will need to hand over the CEO position to me. As for this bitch, Let’s burn her alive and rule it as suicide! Your father has political connections! It won’t be too hard to close this case!’

Kiana tried to move but couldn’t because the drug was still paralyzing her. The fire grew and she felt it start to grow hotter as tears fell from the excruciating pain that she was feeling. Her life turned upside down right after she said I do and now all she could do was sit and wish she had seen the signs if they were any. The fire caught her body but she couldn’t even let out a scream because her mouth couldn’t move and the pain she felt in her heart was more than the pain she felt as the fire set her body painfully ablaze!

She trusted Daniel despite still being in love with her ex she gave him a chance and even gave him the position of CEO but how did he repay her?

By drugging her and causing her to have cancer!

By cheating on her with the woman he treated like a sister and now she lost everything and everyone would think she killed her secretary, was a drug addict, and killed herself.

Everyone would pity Daniel while everything her mother worked for would go into the hands of wicked people. How could she have been so foolish? Juliana hinted at her several times but she was too blinded by what she saw.

‘Heavens! Anyone out there who will hear my prayer please see how I’ve been humiliated and painfully killed!’ She cried internally as the skin started melting off slowly peeling off her body as she lay on the bed while tears streamed down her face from the pain that couldn’t be described.

‘Please don’t let Daniel and Annabel get away with this! Avenge my death!’ Kiana cried as the whole house got consumed by the fire slowly eating her away as every other room.

‘Should we ever meet again Daniel and Annabel, I will make you pay!’ Kiana vowed internally.

Slowly and painfully, her life was taken away as the rest of her body turned to ashes………….
