KILLIAN'S POV

"Of course not. How can you even think of that?" I was unable to believe what I just heard him say. Was he trying to tease me or he just wanted to get me pissed off unnecessarily?

Jack shot me a glance and chuckled once again.

"What's funny?" I asked, my curiosity taking charge of me. "I see you don't want me here."

"Not at all, I never meant it that way. I was only trying to…"

And "Ridicule me!" I sharply cut in. "No, go ahead and say it! You know what? I'm out of here."

I stormed out towards the door, leaving Jack to his fate. I slammed the door behind him as I left his chambers.

After all, it posed no form of hayyyyuuuyyuyyu rm to me.

I headed back towards my chambers and even though I kept hearing endless strange sounds, I was more determined than ever. I wouldn't dare spend the night with someone as menacing as Jack.

Jack nodded, understanding dawning in his eyes. "I see," he murmured, his gaze thoughtful. "What kind of test do you have in mind?"I glanced around, ensuring that no one else was within earshot before continuing. "I want you to create a scenario where Scarlett will be faced with a difficult decision," I replied, my voice low and serious. "A situation that will test her loyalty to the pack and her commitment to change."He nodded slowly, the weight of my request sinking in. "I understand," he replied, his voice solemn. "I'll set it up right away. But are you sure about this, alpha? What if she fails the test?"I sighed, the weight of my doubts pressing down on me like a heavy burden. "I need to know the truth, Jack," I admitted, my voice tinged with regret. "If Scarlett truly wants to change, she'll pass the test. But if she fails... then we'll know where her loyalties truly lie."With a sense of resolve, Jack set about orchestrating the test, his movements swift and precise as he car

"What brings you here?"She entered hesitantly, her gaze avoiding mine as she approached. "I... I need to talk to you," she began, her voice barely above a whisper.I gestured for her to take a seat, curiosity mingling with apprehension as I awaited her explanation. "What is it?" She lowered her gaze, her fur bristling with shame. "I... I don't know how to stop," she admitted, her voice barely a whisper. "I'm trying, but it's like I can't control myself."I felt a pang of sympathy for her, but I knew that sympathy alone wouldn't solve the problem. "We can't continue like this," I replied firmly. "The pack's safety is at stake. You need to leave."Her eyes widened in shock, hurt flashing across her face. "But... where will I go?" she asked, her voice trembling.I hesitated, knowing that I couldn't simply abandon her without a plan. "I'll find a place for you," I promised, though the words felt hollow even as I spoke them. "Somewhere safe, where you can start anew."Tears welled in her eyes as she nodded, accepting the inevitable. "I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I never wanted to hurt anyone."I reached out to touch her gently, a silent gesture of farewell. "I know," I murmured, my heart heavy with regret. "But sometimes, we must make

KILLIAN'S POVI stood at the edge of the forest, the rustling leaves and the distant howls of my pack echoing in the cool night air. The weight of responsibility hung heavy on my shoulders as I pondered the predicament I found myself in. Scarlett had become a source of discord within our pack. Her actions and attitudes threatened not only our unity but also our very survival. And as the alpha, I couldn't help but feel responsible for choosing her in the first place.I turned to face the moon, its silver glow casting shadows across the clearing. "What am I going to do?" I muttered to myself, the frustration evident in my voice."Alpha," a voice called out from behind me, snapping me out of my reverie. It was Jack. His fur was sleek and his eyes shone with determination as he approached."Jack," I greeted him with a nod, acknowledging his presence. "What brings you here at this hour?""I've been observing Scarlett," he began, his voice low and serious. "Her actions have been causing unr
