Chapter 74

Aurora’s POV

The walk from the training field to my room felt longer than usual. My thoughts wouldn’t stop spinning.

Golden eyes? A prophecy?

None of it made any sense. I came here to understand myself better. Why does everything have to be so complicated?

By the time I reached my room, exhaustion had already wrapped around me like a heavy blanket. I collapsed onto the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

“I must not transform tomorrow,” I whispered. “If I do… everything will get worse.”

With a sigh, I stood up to change. My corset was tight and unyielding as I struggled with the hooks.

“Urgh! These clothes are ridiculous! Who even wears this kind of outfit to a training field?” I muttered, tugging harder. The fabric gave a sharp rip, and suddenly, the top tore open, leaving my upper body exposed.

Before I could even react, the door creaked open.

“Oh,” a familiar voice said casually.

I froze. “Liam?!”

He stood there, completely unfazed.

“What are you doing in my room?! You

Chapter 75 Selene’s POV Hidden in the shadows of the hallway, I watched as Liam stepped out of Aurora’s room. My heart pounded, but I stayed still — quiet enough to hear every word that left his mouth moments before. So… he felt something from her. The memory flashed before my eyes — earlier that day, when I had pretended to be sick and he carried me to my room. I remembered the way he paused, his brows furrowing as if something had struck him. Could that have been the moment he felt it? That strange surge he spoke about? Could it have come from her? The thought made my stomach twist with anger. How could Aurora — that plain, quiet girl — have that pull on him? My jaw tightened. Liam is mine. Whatever that connection was, whatever power or bond they shared, I would crush it before it grew any stronger. I wouldn’t let some outsider take what rightfully belonged to me. “I will be Luna,” I whispered to myself, my voice sharp with venom. “The Luna of the most powerful pack in t

Chapter 73Cassidy’s POVOn her way back to the castle, Cassidy’s thoughts drifted—uninvited—toward Lucious. When they were children, they had been inseparable. Lucious, Bella, and Cassidy. They played together in the gardens, hid behind the training halls, and spent long afternoons chasing each other beneath the silver trees of the Vale. But while Bella often went home to her father—the Beta—Cassidy remained in the castle. Her father, an Alpha and a gifted sorcerer, served the King closely, and so the castle became her second home. She and Lucious had grown up side by side. What started as friendship had bloomed into something deeper—soft glances, shy touches, whispered promises. Their bond had felt unbreakable… until his nineteenth birthday.Cassidy could still remember the night clearly—the music, the laughter, the glow of torches against the marble walls. Then, everything stopped. She saw it the moment it happened—Lucious froze, his eyes finding Bella across the room. The air betw

  • The Half-Life of a Werewolf   The Secret of the Golden Eyes

Chapter 72Cassidy’s POV My heart pounded as I ran home, my mind spinning faster than my legs could carry me. Golden eyes. Aurora’s eyes were golden. It couldn’t be. It shouldn’t be. I slammed the door behind me and rushed straight to the bookshelf, yanking out an old, dusty book — The Prophecies of the Moonborn. My hands trembled as I flipped through the worn pages until I found it. “When a wolf with golden eyes is born, her awakening marks the dawn of great change. Upon maturity, her blood and essence shall hold the power of immortality. Her rise will call forth bloodshed and war, for many shall seek what only her death can give.” I felt my stomach twist. My breath came in sharp gasps as I continued reading. “The golden-eyed wolf is rare beyond measure. Her power is both a blessing and a curse. Should a wolf fall beside her, she may absorb its essence — its strength, its hearing, its speed. But her gift will bring ruin if revealed, for those who crave power will hunt her until

Chapter 71 Aurora’s POV I tried to focus on Liam’s voice—low, steady, and surprisingly patient as he spoke. For a fleeting second, I found myself admiring him. The way his tone softened, the quiet authority in his words—it almost felt… grounding. But the moment didn’t last. The sound of heels clicking against the stone broke the calm. “Oh, great. She’s here again,” Cassidy muttered under her breath. I didn’t even bother to hide my irritation. “Of course she is.” Selene sauntered in, her red hair gleaming like fire under the sunlight. She went straight to Liam, her face twisting into a practiced pout. “Liam, I don’t feel so good,” she said dramatically, pressing a hand to her forehead. He ignored her at first, jaw tightening, but Selene was persistent—hovering close, sighing loudly, pretending to stumble. Then, with a sudden gasp, she leaned forward as if about to faint. Liam caught her automatically. Her lips curved into a small, triumphant smile—the kind meant only for me.

  • The Half-Life of a Werewolf   Control or Be Consumed

Chapter 70 Liam’s POVI had planned it out perfectly in my head—if I trained her myself, showed her the strength of a true Alpha, she’d soften, maybe even fall for me. Everyone always did. One act of kindness, one display of power, and they bent. Why should she be different?I strode toward the training field, already rehearsing the smug smile I’d give her, but when I arrived, the place was empty. My jaw tightened. Where the hell did they go? I moved faster, catching their scent, and finally spotted them just as they were reentering.“Where did you go? Aren’t you supposed to be training?” I demanded.Aurora turned, annoyance flashing in her eyes. “It’s none of your business.”I scoffed. “It is my business. I’m going to own this whole kingdom soon—everything that happens here is my business.”Bella, unfazed, waved a hand. “Relax, Prince Charming. We just went to have lunch.” Then suddenly, her lips curled into a grin. “Oh—sorry, guys. I have to leave. Lucious just mindlinked me.” She
