THE HANDSOME MEDICAL DOCTOR: CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
Mike punched him hard with anger as he threw him towards the nearest table. He was angry.
Angry that he had insulted Susanna that way. He slapped him and pushed some he fell on the ground. Kneeling down and taking the man's neck in his hands, he was glad he could see fear in his eyes. He pushed him away and walked to Susanna. She mattered to him right now.
"Are you alright?" He asked, cleaning the tears from her eyes as she cried.
"Mike" She whispered, hugging him closely, wanting him to feel the pain she was feeling.
Wanting him to heal her broken heart.
Hugging her back, he pressed light kisses on her neck, not minding the stares of the crowd around them. All he saw was her. All he felt was her.
All he tasted was her.
He picked her up and carried her out of the party, eyes following them as they walked out of the hall. All Susanna did was find solace in his chest, hiding from the prying eyes of the crowd.
