**Quinn's POV**

Yep, I gave Grayson his second chance after thinking it through. But I still didn't want to tell him. I didn't want Grayson to know because I didn't want him to think he could easily get another chance from me after hurting me.

I don't want Grayson to take me for granted. Dylan and the people around me are right when they say I have to love myself before I can love anyone else. That way, I can appreciate myself and value myself. And when I can do that, I will feel secure with myself. So that love from others is a complement, not something I can't live without.

"Can I get that second chance?"

I avoided Grayson's gaze and pointed to the dark night sky. "Oh, it looks like the fireworks show is about to start."

Grayson, who had been staring at me, was distracted and looked in the direction I was pointing. "I haven't seen it," he commented.

"It hasn't started yet. I mean, it's about to start."

"Ah, I know, you're trying to avoid my question."

I glanced at him cynically.

**Quinn's POV**I quickly answered Grayson's call once I was outside the restaurant. After all, I didn't want to risk Anton overhearing our conversation. It would drive him crazy if he found out I was talking to our boss's favourite ice hockey player. "Quinny, where are you?"I looked around before answering, "I'm at the chicken restaurant. Actually, there's something I want to tell you.""Chicken restaurant? Do you want to eat chicken? You can ask me and I'll definitely buy it for you."I bit my finger. "It's not like that. I'll tell you, but don't get mad, okay?""Did you meet Owen?" Grayson's voice rose. "No, no," I replied immediately. "I passed the interview. I gotta work again. Three days a week at a chicken restaurant near your penthouse."I anticipated Grayson's reaction by moving the phone away from my ear. But after a few moments, there was no sound, not even a breath. Curious, I spoke again. "Babe, are you still there?""Ah, yeah. I heard you. Congratulations, Quinny! I

**Quinn's POV**"Come here, I'll whisper something to you," said Dylan. I obeyed, bending down slightly so Dylan could reach my ear. Honestly, I didn't suspect Dylan at all because I wasn't joking either. But what he said was so unexpected that I pinched his arm. "You naughty boy!" I snapped.Dylan smiled mysteriously. "But I'm sure it will calm him down. You have to come to the game the day after tomorrow too.""Of course I will. But the other thing... argh, that's embarrassing, Dylan.""Hey, what's embarrassing about it? Don't you guys usually do it?"Yes, but usually Grayson initiates it. Even if I ever initiated it, it wasn't too extreme and only made him come. I whined to Dylan. "I can't do it.""From what I've observed, Grayson always seems to want to pounce on you, and sorry, but it seems like after you guys do it, he's always in a good mood."I glared at Dylan. "You've been watching us?""Hey, no! I mean, afterwards. I live here too. So I can't help but see Grayson every

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   109 Hours Before the Fierce Game Between Two Alphas

**Quinn's POV**"How was your first meeting with Grayson's parents?""Just as I expected. His mother hates me," I replied as I flipped the sausages I was frying. "Don't give up. You'll win her over someday."Yeah, I hope so too. I hope there will come a time when we can both accept each other. I hope I can forgive her mistakes and she can accept me. "Oh yeah, where's Grayson? I haven't seen him since this morning."I stopped what I was doing in the kitchen to glance at Dylan. "He's out for a run."Dylan scratched his head. "Oh, I forgot. He has a game the day after tomorrow, right?""Yes, with White Tiger," I replied. "Why did your tone change?"How could I tell Dylan about this? The thing was, the general manager of White Tiger had made me a crazy offer, which was to become the therapist of a player named Hanz, which had caused Grayson to misunderstand at the time. Honestly, I was so nervous about the game the day after tomorrow. Because it would be the first time Grayson met an

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   108 I Hope We'll Always Be in Love

**Grayson's POV**I could only resign myself as Quinn took off my shirt and pulled down my pants a little. After all, it was for my own good. Because really, Quinn's pinches really hurt. I had been holding it in since yesterday because I was embarrassed, actually. "Stay there. Don't move or follow me," Quinn warned. "Where are you going?" I asked, curious. "To get an ice pack and some ointment. I don't want it to interfere with your game.""Honey, you don't need to worry. It's nothing. I often get bruises when I play."Quinn, who had been bent over in front of the mini fridge, turned to face me. "And that doesn't mean you should leave it untreated. No matter how small it is, it has to be treated, Grayson."I raised both hands in the air. "Okay, okay. I give up."Quinn stamped her foot on the floor then bent down again, putting ice cubes into the compress container.Oh damn. Her position right now was really tempting. She was in the same position as when we had sex with doggy style.

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   107 Distractions from the Ex

**Quinn's POV**As soon as the elevator doors opened, I rushed to the door, entered the code, and then ran to Dylan in the living room. I hugged him tightly. "Are you okay?"Dylan looked at me and Grayson alternately. "Yeah, I'm cool. Nothing happened because after I told the receptionist, they asked Owen to leave.""Oh, thank goodness." I let go of him and then turned Dylan's wheelchair. "Okay, you are fine.""I told you so," Dylan replied. He then moved towards Grayson. "Sorry for almost letting a stranger in."Grayson patted Dylan on the shoulder. "No need to apologize. You handled it well."It was fortunate that there was no coercion or commotion. Because I couldn't imagine if today there was news about the young master of the Talon family and the young master of the Drew family getting into a fight. After all, the two families had always had a good relationship, even though Grayson and Owen did not. So it would definitely be a very interesting topic for the media to stir up. Gr

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   106 I'll Ride All Storms As Long As I'm With You

**Quinn's POV**We finally arrived at the basement of Grayson's penthouse after hours of driving through slippery roads. I was relieved that Grayson had calmed down, even though he hadn't said anything during the trip. But that was okay, I wasn't mad about it. In fact, I thought it was better for Grayson to stay silent and think about my advice than for me to talk to him and provoke his anger. And now it was time for me to ask Grayson about his decision. As he said, he would give his decision after we arrived. So I touched his hand, which was still on the steering wheel. I rubbed it gently before finally holding it. I looked at him as he closed his eyes. What I admire about Grayson is that when I give him advice, he listens carefully without interrupting. Even though he may not agree later, even though it may be annoying for him, he doesn't cut me off at all. He lets me take on the role of his support system. And that really makes me feel appreciated. "Gray bear," I called softly
