"I'm really sorry, Joshua. I didn't know they were there and that they'll attack you like that. I'm sorry," I kept on apologizing to Joshua while putting some ointment on his bruise even though it'll heal in an hour or so.

He smiled, "it's fine. I understand their anger and jealousy. Both of them are Alphas so it's understandable for them to be possessive of their mate."

I rolled my eyes, "still, that doesn't give them the right to attack you like this! I'll give them an earful for this."

Joshua chuckled at what I said, only to wince at the pain.
