It was four hours to the mating ceremony…I couldn't wrap my head around why my brother would bring in such a filthy girl as Luna.

“Pour me another; I want to be tipsy,” I said to Mina, raising my glass while I lay flat on the bed.

“Shouldn't you be getting ready for the ceremony?” Mina asks, even as she pours me a glass of cider.
