"How do you know all this? Your side of the prophecy? What are you talking about?" I asked him. This time he didn't answer. Instead, he got up and walked over to the table and picked up the old book and walked over to the bed I am on and set it down. Then he walked out of the room. But before he leaves, he stops and turns and says to me "That book will explain everything you need to know about the dragon, Askook and the prophecy as well." Then he shuts the door and locks it behind him. Call it curiosity, but I managed to pick up the book and started looking through it. As I was looking at it I came across a chapter that read Askook and the prophecy, so I continued reading it. As I read it, I relished that the Elder Bishop was correct about this monster. According to the book's chapter, it said that Askook was what we werewolves called a pack killer. And that the moonstone guardian is the only one that can stop him unless the moonstone has been destroyed and her powers are taken from he
There wasn't even a gate around the property nor were there any werewolves guarding the borders. So we entered carefully and started to run towards the far end of the property where the bunker was. When we got there, I noticed a steel door on the ground. "This is it. eyes and ears open." I started as I opened the heavy steel door. Once I opened the door, Kara's scent of fresh flowers and vanilla was very strong, so I knew that she was close by. I didn't even hesitate when I smelt her scent. I ran down the steps and right to the door she was behind. I didnt even think twice as I busted the steel door from its frame. The door crashed to the floor with a loud thud that caused Kara to jump out of what appeared to be a small bed. She had a startled look on her face. I looked at her apologetically and went to her and broke her bindings without a second thought that they were silver. My hands burned when I touched them, but I didn't let it stop me from freeing her. Once she was free, she kept
While I was sleeping, I still had that burning sensation inside of me that I couldn't get rid of. It was beginning to drive me crazy. I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror and saw that my eyes had changed. They were now a rose gold color with pink and purple flakes in them. So I decided to mind-link Atlas, "Atlas, can you and Elsa please come to our bedroom? I feel like something is wrong. I feel like my body is on fire." "We are on our way," he replied. A few seconds later, he and Elsa were rushing into our room and came up to me. When Elsa took one look at me she knew right away what was going on. "We needed to get her outside and fast. Her dragon is waking up and she's beginning to shift into her dragon." Elsa said. "Atlas, do you want her to shift into her dragon in the house? Don't just stand there, we need to get her outside right now." Atlas quickly picked me up, still shocked about what was happening, and carried me out of the house and out to the field behind the gardens w
She started to turn back towards Atlas and Elsa when she let out this deadly roar. I swore you could hear it from miles away. "He's waking up. I need to get you back to your pack so you can get ready to find the moonstone before he arrives," she said as she picked up speed and flew back to everyone. When we got closer, she started to speed dive downward and spiraled down, and landed softly on the ground beside Atlas. As soon as she landed, I was back in human form and in control of myself again. I quickly looked down and, to my surprise, I was dressed. "We dragons can shift and are magical creatures, so when we shift back into our human forms their clothes are still there. But Kara. Now isn't the time for an ideal chit-chat. We need to get to the moonstone. The moon has begun its phases." Without saying a word to Atlas, I started running towards the cave in the mountains by the lake. I could hear Atlas and Elsa calling for me to stop but I didn't. I didn't have time to explain to them.
After she finished howling, she jumped off the mountain, shifted into a grimlock, and started to fly over the mountain. She flew down the lake and landed beside the shore line, looking at the water, which was as still as a mirror, and that's when I saw my new form. I was absolutely enormous, but also beautiful and fierce looking. I had the body of a dragon. My head was shaped like a dragon, but my snout was like a wolf's. Mixed with my silver scales, with pink and purple ones mixed in, were tuffs of silver fur. My wings were still intact; of course they were, considering we flew off the mountain top, and my legs were massive, with long razor-sharp talons. After looking in the water for a few minutes, I started to shift back to my human form. When I was done, I was still holding the moonstone in my hands. I turned around to leave to head back to the pack house, and that's when I noticed that Elsa and Atlas were still standing there. They had been here waiting all night for me. I couldn'
"Why did this monster take their Luna? What does he want with her?" My Beta asked. "It's not her this monster is after but me." I said to them. "I am his target and he won't stop until he either captures or kills me. So I need to defeat this thing and fast before he hurts anyone else or, including this pack. I will not let anyone else die because of me." I know what I have to do and I am willing to do anything to stop this monster." I said. Everyone just looked at me with confusion in their eyes. "How do you plan on doing that, Kara?" Atlas asked me. If I told you you wouldn't like it, so it would be better if you didn't know." Is all I could say. I walked out of the office with a new-found determination to destroy the beast once and for all. As I was walking out, Atlas kept hollering for me to come back. But I ignored him and continued to walk towards our bedroom. "You know what this means?" Mizuki asked me as I walked off. "Yes I do. I will lose one of you for good, but if we defeat
Sarah called Steven back into her office. Within a minute, a knock sounded on the door. Steven slowly opened the door and walked in, shining the door behind him. Sarah looked up, smiled and greeted Steven, who seemed to be standing there nervously. Was greeted by Sarah, "Come in Steven, please don't be nervous, you haven't done anything wrong. Alpha Atlas and Luna Kara need to know what you saw the day of the attack." Steven nodded at Sarah and, with a heavy sigh, and sat down beside us on the couch, he cleared his throat and began to explain what happened the day of the attack. "It all happened really fast, so it is hard to explain but, I was with my mate Samantha in our house eating breakfast, when there was an extremely loud roar coming from the mountain ridge at the far end of the boardors. I looked out our kitchen windows and saw a massive dragon-looking beast flying towards the main pack area shooting flames out of its mouth. It caught homes and buildings on fire as it flew over
I tried to clear my mind while I went into my bathroom and got ready for bed. My mom was still in my room when I got out of the bathroom. My mom sat beside me while I crawled into bed and covered up. She stood up and kissed my forehead and walked out of my room, turning the lights out on her way out. I tried to fall asleep but my mind wouldn't let me. For I kept seeing Apollo and Atlas in my head all night long. I really need to call. I will tomorrow, I thought to myself as sleep decided to finally take me. . The following morning, I woke up earlier than everyone else. I got out of bed and dressed in my running clothes and headed out the door, pulling my hair up into a loose ponytail. As soon as my feet hit the ground, I took off at a full sprint towards the main road. I could feel Calypso getting antsy in my head. I knew she wanted to stretch her legs. So, as I got further from the house, I let her take control. We were still in full sprint when she shifted into her wolf form. I cou
