Chapter 19: Successful Escape? Missions Complete?

Su Lan got up and headed out the city gates. She felt more than four people following her as she left the city. She walked and ran into the forest. As she lost the people following her. She asked the bling bling bracelet how she would know where her clone is when she wants to head back.

Bling Bling Screen:

There is a GPS tracking function and an automatic transfer function.

Su Lan: So for the automatic transfer function I can be where the clone is? Will the clone still be there if I transfer over?

Bling Bling Screen: Yes. No.

Su Lan: Are there other functions?

Bling Bling Screen:

There is also a camera function so you can see what your clone is doing.

Su Lan: Is that all of the functions?

Bling Bling Screen:

Figure it out yourself.

Su Lan: .... I knew it! I should never count it to be reliable.

Bling Bling Screen: I can hear your thoughts.

Su Lan: ..... How do you turn off the function of hearing my thoughts?

Bling Bling Screen: By not using this bracelet!!!

Su Lan made her clone walk out to where the guards were and took out Pom Pom who was still calling the word master in her mind. Pom Pom started to act up again once they had exited the gate.

After she saw her guards walk away after her clone she took Pom Pom for a walk.

Mission progress: Escaped the guards but had someone else following. Mission sort of complete since you lost the guards.

Su Lan: What!!! How is the reward still pending if it is finished!

Info Screen: Have not decided what the reward will be yet.

Su Lan: What was the punishment?

Info Screen: .... the gods have yet to decide but it wouldn't be concerning life and death.

Su Lan: That's good.

Info Screen: Only worse than death. Afterall, you can revive after you die.

Su Lan: .... can't you say the whole thing at once!!!

Su Lan: ... who is following me.

Info Screen: Someone from the higher realms. Your current cultivation is the highest in this realm. The person isn't detected by you so he can only be from above.

Su Lan: .... What should I do? Is there any ill intentions?

Info Screen: Nope, no danger detected.

Su Lan: .... didn't you say there was no danger detected!!!???

Info Screen: Hello, I say currently no danger is detected but that does not mean you would be safe. Although, I have been wanting to ask, why did you head out of the city to look for a friend instead of just making friends with your maid or servants?

Su Lan: ... that was an option? Then again even if I did they would not agree to that.

Info Screen: Whatever... even if you died you would revive in 50 days.

Su Lan: ... Thank you.

Su Lan: "I know you're following me. Please come out."

Two people appeared behind her.

Su Lan: System!!! Didn't you say there was only one person! There are two people! Can you count?! I am going to get KO without getting a chance to run!

Info Screen: Oh, well it doesn't make a difference either way you will be KO.

Su Lan: .....!!!!!

The two people who appeared wore clothing that was different from what people wore here. One was wearing all black from head to toe. Another was wearing a Chinese hanfu outfit. One look and you could tell who was the master and who was the bodyguard.

The person wearing the blue hanfu with white embroidery. Age looks about 20-25. His eyes were smiling but his lips were hooked in a playful smile. The one in black looks around the same age with a cold face. Although, if looked closely enough his lip was twitching as he looked at his master.

Su Lan: "Why are you following me? I don't think we are acquaintances."

The man in blue: "No, but the clone and your cultivation level caught my interest."

Su Lan: "What do you want?"

The man in blue: "Not much just wondering how did you know we were following you."

Su Lan (in her mind): Why does it feel like I am digging a pit for myself....

Su Lan: "The medical scent on your body."

The man in blue (smiles): "Oh."

Su Lan: "My god, just say what you want to say all at once! I hate the suspension in the air."

The man in blue (deeper smile): "Sure, I want to know more about you."

Su Lan: "What? Meaning you want to be friends?"

The man in blue (puts on an innocent face): "That's right. What is your name?"

Su Lan (in her mind): Why do I feel like a rabbit being tricked into something horrible.

The man in blue (looked at Pom Pom and copied his expression): "Your name?"

Su Lan (in her mind): I have to hold on. I can't be tricked by this cute puppy expression.

2 seconds later ...

Su Lan: "Su Lan."

The man in blue: "Yu Leng."

Su Lan (in her mind): Noooooo, I am so stupid! How could I fall for it just because he is handsome and looks adorable with puppy eyes.

In the background that no one notices. 

The man in black eyes and lips are both twitching.

After a few moments, more like 30 seconds.

Su Lan turned to the man in black: "And you?"

Yu Leng walked up to Su Lan and turned her face to him.

Yu Leng: "No one important." (Glares at the man in black).

Su Lan stood there in shock. A person she just met. Literally, just met for not even 10 minutes and he is already grabbing her face!

Yu Leng stares at her with puppy eyes.

Su Lan's anger immediately faded away.

Yu Leng didn't ask her about the clone or any of her secrets after that.

Su Lan (in her mind): Ah! I just realized my mission is to make a friend and visit their home within a week. How am I going to visit his home within a week when it is not even in this realm! Who follows a guy home on the first day they meet! (Mini Su Lan pounding on the table in her head).
