تسجيل الدخول“Huh?” Xalia asked, confused. “Shut up,” Zade told Jason and he scoffed. “I don't speak to you so don't speak to me either,” Jason replied. “Enough!” Mr. Vale yelled and everyone fell silent. Xalia slowly stood up and walked out of the dining room. She took a random hallway and started walking down. She was exhausted from the drama and needed to be alone. She also wasn't ready to feel bad over what they were talking about. It’s not her fault they were screaming in each other’s faces. They all just hate each other. Xalia decided to give herself a tour so she kept taking directions. The house was huge but she wasn't bothered that she could go missing. She will find her way one way or the other. She paused when she got to a hallway filled with paintings. She stared at each of them, taking her time with each. “Are you lost dear? Do you need something?” she heard a voice behind her and she turned to see the woman whom Zade greeted earlier. “Oh, no. I am just taking a walk around.
“Why?” Zade asked and she shrugged in response.“Lea said I should picture who I hate most in the world, I don't hate anyone and couldn't picture anyone but somehow I could picture only you,” she replied and all Zade did was nod in response. He had no idea what to say. “Lea,” Charles called as he trailed behind her. Lea ignored him and kept heading to her car. Seeing she wasn't planning on stopping or paying attention to him, he rushed to her car and got there just a few steps before her.She groaned and gave him a look. “What? What?” she asked.“I’m sorry. Come on, I have been apologizing for a long time, I am sorry,” he said and Lea sighed.“Okay.” she shrugged and was about to go into her car but he stopped her. He got in front of the driver’s door, blocking her view and she gave him a look.“After dinner tonight, can you come over to my place?” he asked and Lea nodded in response.“Yes,” she replied softly and he raised his brows.“Are you lying?” he asked and she nodded with
Xalia looked up at him in tears and he stared back at her. Why the hell is he being so soft out of the blue? “You still need to sign every page of the contract,” he said and Xalia looked away from him. She picked up the pen and without reading it, she started to sign everywhere her signature was required. When she was done she closed the contract and sniffed. Guess she just has to accept the way her life is now. “You still have to read it,” he said and without saying anything, she opened it and started reading it. She found everything ridiculous but she couldn't say anything about it.What was the point anyway? It changes nothing. She was done and she closed it again.“Tell me the summary of it,” he ordered and she sniffed. “I am to stay away from Jack or any other men that are not you, I can't stare at a man too much and I can't speak to a man without your permission either. If you want to have sex, I should be ready for it any day, any time. You are my master and I should alway
Xalia felt her heart race as she watched Charles walk away. She hesitated a little as she thought of what to do. Should she run away? Go back home? Run to Charles to help her? She was confused about what to do and at the same time, too scared to go to Zade. After waiting for about a minute, she walked down the hallway. Following Charles’ description, she stopped in front of a door. She exhaled heavily before opening the door and walking into the room. It was just like a normal room but it was empty and it had only a couple of chairs there with a table in the middle. The chairs were placed opposite each other and on the table were two files with a pen next to them. The light in the room was bright enough and she could see Zade leaning on the wall and pressing his phone. She could tell he knew she had entered the room but he paid no attention to her. “Sit,” he ordered without looking up from his phone and Xalia didn't do as he ordered. She was too scared to move so she just remain
Xalia walked into the house and headed up to her room. She had a smile on her face thinking about Jack. It's a good thing he had a change of art. She got into her room, took a seat on her bed, and giggled to herself. She was excited, she was going to get everything back and wouldn't need Zade anymore. She would be happy again and her life would be back to normal. She giggled out loud and was about to lie on her bed when she heard a knock on the door. She furrowed her brows as she wondered who it was. Ste just got into her room now. “Come in,” she said and the door opened revealing a maid. “Ma’am, Mr. Vale needs you to go to the chauffeur downstairs,” she said and Xalia furrowed her brows. “Why?” she asked.“I have no idea, ma’am. All he told me was to inform you to go to the chauffeur,” she replied and Xalia thought about what could be wrong. She shrugged it off and believed it was nothing, she was smooth with what she did and there was no way Zade would know about it. Probably
Xalia got into the car waiting at the gate. She entered the front seat and saw Jack. She locked eyes with him for a few seconds before looking away. Without saying anything, Jack turned on the ignition and drove away. He drove for a few minutes in silence then pulled over in front of a restaurant. Xalia looked out the window to see if the area wasn't crowded and it wasn't. “It's okay. I checked before bringing you here, people barely come here.” Jack said and she turned to him. She nodded a little in response. “Here, just to be on a safer side,” he said as he picked up a cap. He tried to help her put it on but Xalia pulled away a little, surprised by his actions. “Here,” he said softly and handed it to her. She took it and put it on. He was being weird, he was being soft and nice which was strange to her. Jack has never treated her this way, he has never treated her like she mattered in anything. They both got out of the car and headed into the restaurant. They got in and Xalia
Charles scoffed loudly and dropped the file in his hand before he walked back to Xalia. He got to her, grabbed her hand, and pulled her towards the exit of the warehouse. Zade watched as he did. Xalia looked back at Zade as Charles pulled her, their eyes met for a few seconds until she turned away
“Ma’am.” Xalia heard a voice call and she looked up to see the guard she came with.“Mr. Vale demands your presence in his office,” he said and Xalia sighed. She sniffed, wiped her tears, and slowly got up.She trailed behind the guard till they got to the office. He helped her with the door and s
Xalia smiled at the doctor a little before walking out of his office. She was done and was given the proper meds she would need to feel better. The guard escorted her out of the hospital till they got to the car. Xalia exhaled heavily and leaned in the seat with her eyes closed. She was relieved,
NEW YORK CITY“Please smile,” Emily whispered to Jack as they stood in front of the reporters. Multiple pictures of them were taken as they walked elegantly into the hall. It was a little party and press conference for the rebranding of Xalia’s company. The news about her death finally went viral
