Changes have been made, but the corrections won't appear until next week due to the weekend. Anyway, have a happy reading (≧▽≦) 24th July, 2026.
“-_-”. I was speechless as I stared at Daxter.Curiosity made me walk towards him.I knew that Daxter had not been acting like himself lately, but this was way worse. It was like he was a completely different person. I was certain that he must have seen Atlas and me together. But the fact that he didn't bring the talk up, was suspicious enough. “Are you sick in the head?”. I could not refrain from asking Daxter that question. The door opened, making me turn to the Omega maidservants. They had come out of the bathroom. “Your bath water is ready, Luna Séraphine”. They said to me. “I see. If you prefer to bathe before having breakfast, I will patiently wait for you”. Daxter said to me, making me frown. “What's your deal?”. I asked him. “The deal is…” Daxter paused to talk, talking several steps towards me as I slowly backed away from him without breaking eye contact. I suddenly halted, allowing Daxter to stand an inch away from me, before he lowered his back a bit and leaned cl
“Die, you bastard”. I said under my breath. My voice was barely audible, as I shifted into my wolf form, pouncing at Atlas and pushing him away from the balcony, not caring that I might hurt him and end up being in trouble, since he was our guest. But that was exactly the point of everything. I wanted him to get hurt. I wanted him to know that I was not to be messed with. I jumped down the balcony and landed on all fours on the ground with a growl, before I bared my teeth at Atlas. ‘I have tolerated you enough in my past life. But I will not make the same mistake and waste the new opportunity that has been given to me’. I thought to myself. I revealed my claws as I ran towards Atlas, jumped at him, and struck him, giving him a small scar on his face, (close to his eyes) which was covered by his blood. I pressed him against the ground. My paw was on his chest. I suddenly frowned and did not feel satisfied because of how calm Atlas was as he stared at me with those alluring blue e
Séraphine's pov, “Aria, I want you to return to our base and select two talented warriors”. “Have them keep an eye on Delta Kane and the forest, and report to me the moment they find something”. “I will do that, Luna Séraphine”. Aria beat her chest with her palm as she replied to me, before she left my presence. As for me, I went to the bedroom, walking toward the bed and lying flat on it, as I fixed my gaze on the ceiling. “Marriage Alliance”. I said under my breath, having doubts about it. For some reason, I strongly believed that it was not going to work out.“I guess I ought to prepare for war”. I said, grinning, as I could not wait to go to the border.I knew that after the war was over, and after I was through with dealing with my enemies, I would leave the Red Moon Pack forever and form a place where I belong, using my own hands. I wanted to leave the Red Moon pack as a hero, so that they would regret ever treating me badly. ‘What war are you talking about, Séraphine? Yo
Daxter's pov, A small smile appeared on my lips as I watched Séraphine leave my study. For some reason, my heart felt relieved today. Maybe it was due to the fact that Séraphine did not argue much with me. I rose to my feet, before the look on my face changed, as my mind returned to what Séraphine told me about the forest. ‘Could it be her doing?’. Silas asked me, making my eyes darken as I thought about it. “I thought she decided to punish only me. So, why go after the forest? Does she plan on hurting my people?”. I muttered, then recalling that Séraphine had told me that she had been attacked, made the veins in my neck pop out. ‘If it was her doing, that means she tried to hurt our mate’. I mind linked Silas. ‘How dare she?’. Silas growled in my head, while I clenched my fists, as I felt the blood in my vein boil with anger. I wanted to fight back against her. I wanted to break that stupid curse. I didn't care if I ceased to become an Alpha if I broke the curse. All I car
I left my study with Aria in search of Daxter. With the way the Omega maidservants were running back and forth, I really couldn't wrap my head around it and kept on having a feeling that something deeper was going on. Well, whatever was going on, I knew I was bound to find out sooner rather than later. “Where is he?”. I said under my breath as I continued to search for Daxter. He was nowhere to be found in the castle, and every Omega maidservant that I asked didn't have a clue where he went. Since I couldn't find him in the castle, I decided to go outside and look for him. The moment the large doors opened, I stepped out and happened to bump into Daxter.“There you are”. I was massaging my forehead when Daxter and I said that at the same time.I frowned at him. “Where have you been? I have been searching for you”. I said to Daxter, feeling my brows stretch from furrowing angrily. “Are you hurt, Luna Séraphine?”. Aria asked me. I briefly shook my head at her, indicating that I
I had my back facing Rita and Aria as I stared outside the window, watching the Omega maidservants set up outside the castle. “What is it that you must tell me, Rita?”. I asked her. We were inside my study. I heard a thud, making me guess that Rita had fallen to her knees. Unlike last time, I did not try to stop her from kneeling before me. “I made a terrible mistake, Luna Séraphine. I really did not mean to. You might not believe me, but your sister, Kelly, approached me some weeks ago”.“She told me that as long as I did as she said, she would make sure that my Mom gets better. But she threatened that if I ever reveal anything to you, she-”. Rita stopped talking and choked as I turned to her. “Continue speaking”. I permitted her.Rita hesitantly nodded at me, before she went ahead and continued saying to me, “She threatened that she was going to hurt my mother. I feared for my mother's life, so… I made the maidservants turn against you. And-”. Rita clenched her dress tightly, b
