Athena’s POV

I couldn’t hear anything properly anymore. All I could hear are my loud heartbeats, my breath, and the sound of my shoes every step that I take. I don’t cry but it’s heavy inside my chest.

“Where’s Papa?” I asked as soon as I saw Miri.

Miri was crying outside the emergency room. Her uniform was full of blood, so are her arms and hands. She refused to speak; she stayed whining while hugging herself.
