By the time Trace and I got home, the sun had already set and dusk was upon us.

Scarlet got us home safely after making a few concerning sounds though.

    My legs were starting to ache and I was slowly starting to feel exhausted. Nolan carried Mikey for me on one side of his arm as we continued walking down the pier. People kept staring at us and our huge new furry friend. I let out a sigh. I did feel instant relief once the weight was off my feet.     We were in a car park I didn't recognise. I looked around the dim and dingy place before snapping my head towards Nolan. "I swear Charlestone, if all these years, you've secretly been an axe murderer and you're finally going to murder me, I swear I will haunt you." Nolan scoffed and shook his head. "Okay, Sav."
