Chapter Forty

This chapter is in third person's Pov

"Lekan, Please help me talk to Wunmi. I didn't do anything with Anu." Tayo pleaded. 

Wunmi and Lara had not come out of the house since, Tayo begged Lekan as he came out. 

"Are you telling me Wunmi was lying?" Lekan said. 

Tayo frowned "No, I mean. She saw the wrong thing, I don't know Wunmi came to know but-" 

"How Wunmi came to know that you fucked with Anu?" Lekan raised his eye brows. 

"Lekan, you're my friend. You know I can never hurt Wunmi, you know how much I love her. I swear I didn't do anything with Anu. Yes, Anu seduced me but I didn't give in."

Lekan eyed him and hissed "You. Now let me tell you something, something you pretended you never knew."

"Lekan what's wrong?" 

"Everything is wrong!" Lekan pulled Tayo's arm, "Come with me."

Tayo dragged and followed him, they got to his house. 

"Tell me."

"Yes.
