Chapter Forty Three

This chapter is in third person's Pov

Anu turned sharply and saw Lekan standing behind them, trails of blood ran on his head to his neck. "Lekan." she whispered. 

"Wunmi, run with the kids, don't wait!" Anu shouted. 

Wunmi who was already extra shocked, held Junior and carried Adesewa closer to her chest, then she ran. She would have ran faster but was slowed down by Junior's slow running. There was no way she could carry Junior with Adesewa. 

Anu pointed the gun at Lekan, "Don't come closer, if you come closer I'll shoot!" She threatened. 

Lekan laughed and moved closer to her, they both dragged the gun between themselves while Lekan focused mostly on turning the gun to her, when he succeded, he shot. 

"Mum?" Junior called as they heard the gunshot.
