It was dark and I was alone this time . But in a way, I could scent her . She was close . I tried to look for her but as her scent drew closer, I saw nothing again . I could feel the deep loneliness . My wolf howled in sorrow . She left me . My other half . My anchor . 

Then another female wolf came . She was different . Her fur was black with splotches of white . I recognized her but I still could not bring the name to mind .

She nuzzled her nose against mine and comforted me . Then I heard a long howl of betrayal . I felt it to my bones . She knew .
