Jordan had thought that things were going to get better from the moment JoJo's impossibly blue eyes opened again to look into his, but he wasn't so sure now. His fingers struck he keys of his system with bottled in anger and frustration. He was trying to go through the work load that had piled up over the week and it was somehow more difficult since he was doing that out of his study, at home. In this last week, he's become a terror to work with and he'd had almost half his staffs trying to quit their job because of him, and that's why he's working from home for the mean time. He needed to clear his head and get his head back in his game, but doing that was even more difficult than he'd thought. Because his problem wasn't him. Ever since she's been discharged from the hospital and was brought home, JoJo has been slipping away from him and knowing that was fuc

Ever since that night, morning, whatever, that JoJo had let her insecurities get the best of her, Jordan has been a little distant. She'd believed his words that night because she'd known he'd meant them, it was there in his eyes and very hard to miss. But now, she wondered if she hadn't perhaps misread something in there. It worried her that he hasn't even tried to touch her in any intimate way since the ugly incident she was still trying to get over. And it's been over a week now.Even that night, he'd only kissed her, and that was because she had asked him.He didn't even try to go any further like he would have before the incident. He had just held her like she was some fragile porcelain and she didn't like it.She is anything but fragile and she didn't want to be held, she wanted to be loved by him and she wanted to have him worship her body in

'Making love.' That's the most beautiful way anybody has ever put it for her before. And even when he flipped them, taking over her own game, the words swam in her head, filling her with love for him. Did he realise what that meant to her? "Don't leave me now." He whispered, his voice jolting her out of her thoughts. His lips brushed and then drew her earlobe into his mouth and suckling on it, just like she'd done his. "But I'm right here, with you." She whimpered, loving the way he way loving on her. He bit down on her earlobe and then eased the small pain with the sweet circling and hungry pressure of his tongue. "You are thinking too much, stay with me baby." He didn't give her a chance to answer as his mouth closed over hers. All the power in this game

That night lay thick between them and they both knew it. Unlike he'd expected, JoJo wasn't angry or trying to avoid him or shit like that. She still welcomes him with a kiss and smiled at him, she still let him touch her, but there was a difference now and he felt like an ass knowing he was the reason it was there in the first place. He'd killed the sweet, addictive warmth that came with her kisses, promising that this was more than just mere meeting of lips. Now when they kiss, it wasn't the same. Her beautiful aqua eyes were always blank now and she somehow kept him out of her head. It was frustrating not knowing what was going on in that pretty head of hers, but it was worse seeing the emptiness in those aqua blues that were her eyes. And then there was that call from Zayn. His father, was in the hospital, battling

“Why aren't you home yet?” Zayn cold voice carried through the line, burning through him. Why wasn't he home yet? Yes, it was because he hadn't coughed up enough balls to spill his guts to the one person who deserved it the most. And now shit was getting more complicated with Fayre back in the picture. “Can you hear me Jordan?” Of course he could, just to messed up to say shit right now. “Yeah.” “Father hasn't come conscious since they operated on him, the doctors say that having you guys around him might be what he needs to jolt out of it..........” He doubted that, but of course he planned to go for him. “Malik can't say if he can make it back and that asshole is a fucking medic, you are my only option now.”
