AUTHOR'S POVScared. One word was enough to describe the fast thumping of her heart, the sweating of her palms, the negative thoughts swarming her mind and the ache in heart when she didn't find him beside herself, after waking up from the nightmare. She was scared, that he left her after sharing such a private and intimate time. She was scared, that her body was the only thing he had wanted from her.She was scared, that the feelings which she was thinking of as mild, were much stronger than she could ever imagine. How was it possible to feel so much for one person - a Dragon who she had met just eight days ago?But the tears that threatened to fall out of her eyes, when she searched the whole cabin and didn't find him, was enough of an answer. She had started thinking of him, as someone important.

AUTHOR'S POV“ Harder! ” Vayldre grunted and Frore gave him a poker face, getting annoyed by him already. It's been a whole week. A whole week of sexual tension and awkward moments. Frore was irritated out of her whims. The cold feeling inside her was intensifying and she was unable to control what was happening with her.Her nightmares were still stuck at the same place. The woman was asking Eirlys Albertine to wake up and this was giving Frore a nasty headache. She wanted to reach out to her in her dreams and get to know what it was all about and what really that woman in her dreams wanted to say.“ Focus, Frore! ” Vayldre's voice boomed in Frore's ears, snapping her out of her trance with the back of his sword hitting her shoulder lightly.Groaning, Frore stumbled back and stared at the shiny sword in her hands. Its weight was defi

AUTHOR'S POV Frore was utterly dumbfounded. He just left her hanging and his breathing was even out which meant he already fell asleep. What was wrong with Vayldre? She pouted and rested her head on his chest. Her eyes begged to change color and the iciness wanted to take over her as she felt his warmth but she didn't let the internal force control her. She seemed to feel happy for the first time in a while and she wanted to live in this newly found happiness. Not peace but happiness. A smile lit up her lips as she inhaled his scent and compelled herself to fall asleep before she went crazy thinking about Vayldre. She didn't realize when she fell asleep and Vayldre opened his eyes again. He was so close to having that important talk with her. He was going to tell her about the Magic stone but something stopped him. It was like he couldn't utter any words. He was becoming weak and he didn

AUTHOR’S POVFor a moment, Vayldre was shocked and dumbfounded. She loved him and she just confessed - it happened faster than he ever thought it was going to happen. Her lips were on his again, fiercely this time. It was like she wanted to devour him, become one with him without caring about what he wanted anymore.A pang of hurt shot through his heart which made him feel cold for the first time in his life.He grabbed the side of her face and using all his will power, he detached her lips from his own. He had done what he needed to do, there was no need to drag it further.“ Frore. What’s wrong? ” Seeing her sore expressions and teary eyes, Vayldre changed the topic instead of acknowledging her confession.Frore snapped out of her dreadful trance and realised what she did just now. She confessed to him and he didn’t say anything about it.

AUTHOR’S POVThis time, Frore woke up drenched in sweat, but she didn’t scream out loud. She was simply terrified, horrified. The spirit saw her and told her that she was waiting for her. It felt like the spirit knew her.The spirit’s powers…Frore sat up in the bed and looked beside herself.Vayldre was not there. She sighed and rubbed her temples. The spirits powers were the same as Frore’s, the power of freezing everything, turning everything into ice, making the surroundings harsh cold. What more was there? Frore wondered. For the first time since last night, she thought that there was perhaps more to her powers than she knew. Probably, Vayldre didn’t know everything.Anyway, she now knew where the magic stone was and if bringing that stone back to the Dragons meant a chance at restoring peace in this world, Frore was ready to take this risk.Determined to do something go
