At the Safehouse…  Katleho was sipping on coffee this time, she was watching Silent voices, my favourite show. “Is this season two?” I asked. “Yeah, how far are you?” “Season 5, episode 11.” “It’s hard not to get addicted. This show is epic.” “Tell me about it!” we laughed. Mika arrived. “What are you guys bragging about now?” he asked, throwing himself on the couch, causing the tea to spill. “Hey, I just washed these!” Katleho complained. “Sorry babe.” Said Mika, he looked genuinely sorry. “let me clean up this mess” he added.“No leave it! i will do it.” Katleho said, taking her stained towel to the laundry machine. “One day she’s going to dump me!” I laughed. “She wont,

My mother would only call me during work hours only if it was an emergency. She respected protocol. When I arrived,I saw a second car parked in the yard. I didn't even have to knock at the door as it was wide open. It was as if calling out for me to enter. "Finally, you're here!" Patricia shouted in excitement. She came towards me,then grabbed me by the hand, pulling me to her. "Come I want you to meet someone." She said. I kept my silence and wondered what it was I had to see. There she was, with bangles on her hand and large round ratings on her ears,it was Sam's mother,Lynette. Her eyes widened when I entered the dining room. I exchanged greetings with Lynette. She offered me a long hug and I could smell her sweet rose perfume. "I am sure you're curious about why we are all here. The wedding is happening in two months and we still don't have a caterer!" Patricia stated. I couldn't feel my cheeks for that moment, I was embarrassed, how could I have f

"Finally!"I said in relief, I could access the hidden data I needed. "Have you found anything yet?" Mika asked. "Yes it's a lot to take in but guess what.i got it!" I shouted in excitement. "What is it?"Katleho asked, leaning over my shoulder staring closely at the screen. "Project Xena!" I said looking at the folder then I clicked enter to see more details. There was only an image of a hexagonal shaped metal with a gold cover on it.There was no other information, no words only the object ""That's project Xena? I wonder what it does!" Said Katleho. "I wonder the same thing.!" But more than that I wondered why Mr Phenyo looked anxious when he heard the term Xena corporation. He seemed to know a lot. And why did Ben seem reluctant to talk about it,what was he hiding,I wondered. Meanwhile Mr Phenyo is in his apartment with Ben."You need to let go of the past,it brings nothing but pain!" Said Ben

Meanwhile... My mother was at Mr Phenyo's apartment. He had driven her there incase she lost direction's. "So this is your house,it's huge and manly!" Said Patricia. Mr Phenyo chuckled. "I don't know about huge.Does size really matter?" Mr Phenyo joked. Patricia laughed. "You have a sense of humor. Interesting." Mr Phenyo felt awkward, was Patricia flirting. Yes she indeed was flirting. "I called you here for an important reason. " Said Mr Phenyo. "My daughter's wedding. I do remember that." "I used to be very close to Chris, that's the only reason I am doing this!" "You used to be friends?" "Not exactly, but we worked together.in many project's,long before I met your daughter." Patricia was slightly irritable. The mention of my father's name, did not really sit well with her. She despised my father. She hadn't gotten over a lot of what he had done.

At the safehouse.. “where is our special guest?” I asked “He’s in the garden.” said Katleho “but how do you know, he could be in the basement searching for a way to escape? Besides you have been at work for two hours waiting for Ben” said Mika Katleho chuckled. “what are you laughing at?” Mika asked “The man is in the garden as I said. He’s always there.” Andries entered the house from the back door.He had an apron wrapped around his body, it didn’t have any stain on it.The scene reminded me of my father,he always made sure to never stain his clothing. “i thought I heard voices. Good morning my children.” said Andries, removing his gloves carefully from his hands. “Morning Mr Meyers” we all greeted. “do you need me now or should I return to the garden?”
