Kristy POVI wake up to an empty bed. I reach for my phone on the nightstand and look at the time. 1 P.M. SHIT! It is already noon and I am still in bed. I rush out of bed to my closet and grab the first thing I see. A pair of purple leggings with a blue sweatshirt. doesn't really match but who cares. I rush downstairs and notice the Alpha house is completely empty. Axel is not in his office and not in the kitchen or living room. I put the kettle on to make some tea. In the meantime, I try to mindlink Axel but he blocks me out. I walk up to the refrigerator to grab some milk when I notice a note stuck on the refrigerator. "I will be back before dark xx" I sigh, take the note off the refrigerator, and put it in the trash can. Is he for real? A note? What is he up to now? Axel POV I wake up in the middle of the woods. It is still dark outside, I have no idea what time it is. I look down and I am completely naked covered in mud. Onyx must have had his fun in the woods. I look around and notice that I am close to home. I feel drops falling on my face. It is starting to rain, of course. It starts with a few drops, the leaves on the trees hold back the rain a little bit. I look up and regret it instantly because it starts to rain as if the gates have opened and someone threw a bucket of water on earth. I make a run for it and quickly get inside. I go to the first level, to one of the bedrooms. I don't want to wake Kristy up. I turn on the shower and quickly hop in. After washing myself I walk over to the laundry room. Luckily there are some clothes in the dryer. Jeans and a sweatshirt but no socks. Do I risk going upstairs and potentially waking up Kristy? No, I guess no socks today. I quickly get dressed and go outside back to the clinic to get my car
