บททั้งหมดของ My secret obsession with a high king God.: บทที่ 31 - บทที่ 40

Ariellas pov "Such a shame." He sighed as he crumbled up her paper and set it on fire. The flames had him look like an evil king. He was a dark God I knew. There were so many stories and rumors that had been floating around for the last few days. "Does anyone get it or should I just end class and go back to the palace?" He sighed. I didn't mean to but my hand shot up so fast that I hit my hand under the table. I was quick to brush it off. The small smile he gave me had me smiling and getting fidgity. I had to remind myself to relax. He gestured for me to come up and it took everything in me to get my legs to work. His raised eyebrow had me hurrying up and grabbing my piece of paper and book. I would definitely need it because I just wrote anything and I would have to make up an excuse to why it looked like a whole bunch of scribbles. The walk up to the front felt like an eternity. Every step felt like I was on fire. I could feel my face heat up. I couldn't even remember if I p

Ariellas pov "I wanted to ask the high king something." I snapped as Blake pushed me down into my chair. He refused to listen to reason when I said I would get to class myself. "You can ask him tomorrow." He said alittle to relaxed. His nonchalant attitude was making my annoyance highten. "You know King Alexander is a busy God. I doubt he would've had time when there were Goddesses who were already going up to talk to him. Most of the Goddesses took his class to try to grab his attention." Blake stated the horrific truth. He was the high king, how could he not have Goddesses lining up to woe him? "You're right." I whispered as I opened up the book that was going to be my new best friend. I skimmed through the book looking for anything to talk about. Something that was interesting. He said he loved when a Goddess got him. Page after page and still Nothing was making sense. No matter how much I read it. They weren't even laws. They sounded more like warnings. Page after page seem

Ariellas pov Days went by and nobody came in to get me. I sat on the bed not touching the food that kept magically popping up and leaving out. Days with nobody to talk to and nobody to comfort me. I don't even know how I still had tears. They just kept coming. It was like after the 2nd day of being locked in this room the damn broke and now my eyes were like a faucet. Showers no longer helped and I didn't even care about my appearance anymore. I was being punished for a crime I didn't even know was a crime. I was outcasted and it hurt. Blake showed he wasn't my true friend. Yes King Alexander was his dad but he could've vouched for me but he didn't. He let me suffer and fall for a crime that should've never even been a crime. Unless they knew I was lying and that I ripped it on purpose. "Ariella." A soft whisper had me opening up my eyes. Was I going crazy? I looked around the empty room confused. "Ariella the bathroom." The soft whisper said. Any other day I would've been sc

Ariellas pov "You've been a very bad Goddess." King Alexander purred as he swirled his drink. The blush that covered my cheeks was not the reaction I was suppose to have. "Where have you been at Ariella?" He asked with a deadly voice. The threat was clear. I went to speak but my wrist burned and my mind went blank. I didn't remember. My hand was snatched and Blake turned it over with alittle too much aggression. "A unbreakable protection bond. You can't break it." Blakes angry voice had me trying to pull my hand away. His narrowed eyes had me stopping dead in my tracks. "Oh Ariella, naive little Ariella. You don't know what you just made me have to do." King Alexander whispered as he pulled out a knife. I was quick to try to stand but I couldn't. I was stuck. "You've betrayed us and moles are killed." He said with a sigh. "You. You planned on executing me for ripping the book." I rushed out. If I was going to die I had nothing to lose. "Who said I was going to execute you?"

Ariellas pov "I didn't know about those laws. The class teaches us nothing about what we can and can't do."I blurted without thinking. King Alexanders hand stopped mid air before he was slowly looking up at me. The magical pen that he was writing with had ink dripping onto the paper that he was filling out. I looked down fast as I realized my outburst wasn't smart and probably was going to get me into more trouble. "I assumed your father taught you all the main laws but it seems like your home schooling wasn't spent learning. Perhaps you spent it playing and goofing around." I couldn't even tell if his statement was sarcastic or an observation on his behalf but I felt embarrassed. He was calling out my intelligence. "He umm he never taught me that." I whispered. My eyes were focused on the oak wood table. The patterns looked like waves. I would rather look at the table than anyone in this room. "It seems like he also didn't teach you that unless I address you, you are to stay s
