Chapter forty one Ava POV My head has been pounding really hard and I had no idea why, it started right after me and Lucien did whatever we did that brought all this people back to being okay; whatever that stopped them all from dying. I held my head trying to repress the pain within myself and not make myself a burden by telling my mate what’s going on with me. I actually have no idea what. I glanced to see my mate’s father; Alpha Derek on his feet looking ahead of him, I shifted my gaze to his direction to see nothing. ‘Is something wrong?’ I wondered in my thought. My mate stood up just immediately after walking away from us and his father along with this husky looking guard that held with him a weapon I have never seen in my life, a sheath was made for the big weapon and he was carrying it around with him. His father then followed leaving the rest of us here to confusion and curiosity of what’s going on. Not long his mother also stood up excusing us and leaving the rest

Chapter forty three Ava POV I groaned rolling to the other side of the bed, to find the hard chest I once placed my head on gone. I squinted my eyes open, the brightness in the room was the first to welcome my eyes. I yawned sitting up slowly with my body still under the big duvets. I glanced around the empty room to see I’m alone and Lucien gone. The rays of the morning sunshine gleams across the room, a small smile lit up on my lips realizing I’m now a somebody free to see the sun’s beauty now. I got off the bed making my staggering ways to the bathroom to go do some freshening up, I stood in front of the rectangular framed mirror in front of me looking at my weary self. Gawd I never knew I’m this ugly every morning, my straight white hair was all messy and tangled up. I rolled my eyes at myself before bending my head and filling my joint palms with water slashing it across my face. I did my morning doings walking out of the bathroom looking all refreshed and more like m

Chapter forty five Ava POV I ran out of the room with nowhere in mind to go find him, I was at the hallway hoping he’d just pop out from nowhere and start heading my way; because I have zero idea on where he is or where his parents are talking to him, I have no idea on where to go find him. ‘Lucien! Lucien!! Lucien!!!’ I screamed in my mind, hoping my shout is getting to him as I walk down the hallway heading right. I have to find him somehow, nothing must happen to him.Oh gawd is he even okay right now? I hate that I’m not familiar with this place. We got here a day ago, and this isn’t what we came here for. What exactly is happening or about to happen. Why did I get this feeling, why!!!!!! ‘Can’t things be normal in my life for once’ I lamented in my thoughts.I got to the end with two turns in front of me, I don’t know where to turn to. A maid was passing by just immediately, I stopped her quickly asking her where the prince could be or the king and queen. She nod her head

Chapter forty seven Ava POV If I know being royal all of a sudden means looking royal at all times, I’d have dress properly other than putting on a tight jean on top a grey baggy shirt; the one I took from Trey. I was beside the road hailing down a taxi with no dime on me, I mean with how big and classy this suppose pack or city is, I don’t think they need citizens taxes anymore but it obvious they do. I stopped walking getting exhausted again, I don’t know how I’m gonna get home now when my mate is in obvious danger with no taxi ready to drive me back home for free. I settled on doing what I have never done or knows how to do in my life. I hail down another taxi, getting in I told him where I was going and he responded with how much he’s gonna take. I snorted inwardly nodding my head in agreement to his price. He faced front stepping on the engine and starting the ride. I hate this. Minutes later we’re in front of the big palace as I came down hurriedly. “Wait here while

Chapter forty nine Lucien POV “What do you mean?” She almost sound soundless, I spun her around making her back fell on my body. I took a whiff of her neck, before whispering sensuously into her, “I want you Mate……” Slowly she turned around, her beautiful face filled with desire, I smirked pushing her hair behind her ear as I draw her face closer, my breathe fanning her face till I engage her in yet another passionate kiss. Author’s POV With her hands wrapped around his neck and his hands on her waist, they kissed their way onto the bed. It had started from a serious talk and now both couldn't get their hands off each other. Using none of his legs and not breaking the kiss, the door shut close magically and in the process, a flower vase near Lucien’s bed 's purse fell to the floor but they cared less. The heat of their moment was too much for them to bear. Ava hands ran up and down his neck, pulling slightly at the hairs which rested on his nape. His hands too weren't left out.
