He was nowhere to be found. ‘You lied to us,’ Bonnie gnawed at the bottom of her lips. Detective White couldn’t get hold of himself. He was the first to strike.

She positioned the pen in her hand and ran toward Zuka, wanting to harm herself against him. Pain exploded on her left cheek as Zuka stroke her with his fist. A ringing sound echoed through her left ear that she became stunned by the force of the punch. “Behave!” Zuka snarled in her ear as he clutched her hair in a very tight hold. “Do this again, and I will kill you myself before the fun will begin.” A sharp pain escaped her lips, as he released her hair.
