When I got to the pond, I saw Sam staring at the water with a smirk on his face, so I ran over to him and grabbed him by the collar, "You're so fucking dead" I yelled as I was about to punch him in the face when I saw Athena fighting to stay afloat she can't fucking swim and he still threw her in anyway. I jumped in after her as fast as I could, but she had gone under when I reached her. I dived in after her, pulled her to the surface, and started CPR, but she wasn't breathing. I did CPR again, and she wasn't breathing. When I tried again, she started coughing up water in an attempt to catch her breath. I ran my hands through her hair to calm her down; everyone had gathered around us, watching and whispering, it was so sick that no one tried to help her; they just stood there watching her funking drown."That's what you get for messing with me, freak; maybe now you'll learn to stay in your place because Leo won't be there to save you the next time." Diana smirked, and I didn't care

I kept the letter a secret from Leo because it wasn't important, and telling him would only add to his worries, so I tore it up and soaked it in water before throwing it away.Even if the letter was gone, what Ford mentioned in the letter was still bothering me; what did he mean when he said Dalton was no longer a problem? I was buried in my thoughts as I glanced out the window when the door creaked open and Detective Adams and Sloan entered the room; judging by their demeanour, I knew something was wrong."Let's talk in the waiting room," I said as I exited my mother's ward and made my way to the waiting area, detectives Adams and Sloan following close behind, we took our seats in the corner of the waiting room, before Detective Adams started speaking."Austin," Detective Adams began, her voice kind yet solemn. "We have received an update on the case."My heart skipped a beat as I focused my attention on her. "What is it?"Detective Adams exchanged a glance with Sloan before continu

"I'm going to scream Dylan, let me go right now," I pleaded, my voice shaking with terror. "Go on, no one is going to hear you, Austin isn't around and lover boy is a little busy with James and Tom, so it's just you and me, little mouse" Dylan said, taking small steps towards me, I took steps backwards till my back met the wall, then he caged me with his hands when I tried to run, "Get away from me, you sick bastard," I yelled, my gaze darting around the room, trying to find a way out of here."Has lover boy fucked you yet? I'm sure he has, I know I would have; I told you at the beginning of the year that you were mine, but you still let that idiot touch you, and that pisses me off" Dylan said, anger evident in his tone as he stared at me."Fuck you!""I'm upset little mouse and you won't like me when I'm mad,." Dylan murmured his hands slid to my neck, his enraged gaze never leaving mine as he wrapped his hands securely around my neck squeezing tightly. I struggled against him, but

The semester was finally over, and I couldn't wait for the holidays, so I could spend time with Athena and the guys at her uncle's ski resort in Mount Everett, where we will be having the time of our lives. But I think her uncle had ulterior motives when he invited us to spend the holiday there because Athena told us he wanted to meet with Austin, Shane, and me to find out who she has been hanging out with. I don't blame him; Athena was wonderfully kind and easy to take advantage of; she sees the good in everyone even if there isn't. The year wasn't perfect, but it provided me with the opportunity to meet Athena, Sophia, and Austin, the most important people in my life after Shane. They have made my life more enjoyable than it was when we lived in New York. Shane is always cheerful when they are around, which makes me glad because he was a totally different kid when my parents were still alive, sad, and closed off from everyone but me.With Athena and his overprotective elder broth

An hour ago.."Hello little mouse, it was so easy to get you up here, all I had to do was take that morons phone and text you, and you came running to him without any questions asked," Dylan said, his breath fanning my neck as I attempted to remain still so he wouldn't notice how afraid I was."Where is Leo? If you don't let me go, I'm going to scream bloody murder," I managed to say, but my trembling voice betrayed me, showing my fear."Oh, don't worry about him, little mouse; after all, when his old friend is finished with him, your boyfriend will wish he hadn't crossed me," Dylan said, and I could tell he was smiling."What are you talking about? You sick fuck, where is Leo?" I cursed, causing his hold on my shoulders to tighten."If he ignored you like everyone else and minded his own fucking business maybe you wouldn't have even thought of fighting back then and now" "Shut up! You're sick, you made my life miserable" "Ever since he arrived, you have been acting like you own the
