Ronan's POV"I'm sorry I made things so difficult for you before. I know you are my mate, I just couldn't let myself get distracted from my goals. Now I see that we stand a better chance together than apart," she explained as she gently held my hand as we lazily walked back to the pack house."So your open to having me as a mate now?" I ask cautiously.I felt my heart skip a beat when she nodded and smiled up at me. I am so happy right now that I could take her right here on the forest floor. "I will not reject you anymore. I never should have. The moon goddess blessed me with the perfect mate and I have behaved less than appreciative."I stop in my tracks and pull her to me so she lands against the solid wall of my chest. My hand cups her angelic face as I lower my lips to hers. She wraps her arms around my neck and opens her mouth, giving me full access to her mouth. Her kisses are addictive and her soft moans of pleasure call to my most primal needs. I break this kiss, leaving bot

Ronan’s POV “I love you, Willow.” I internally kick myself and tense, waiting for her to bolt. Today she finally accepted me as her mate and let me mark her. She even marked me in return, now I may have just messed things up again with three words. I relax a bit when she doesn’t bolt for the door. She surprised me when she instead rolled over, wrapped her arms around my bare waist and tucked her head into my chest. “I love you too,” she sighed sleepily before letting sleep overcome her. I feel my heart constrict as everything finally felt right. Ghost is at peace and Harmony as well. Ghost tells me that Harmony is quite the talker when Willow is asleep. That tells me that Willow subconsciously blocks Harmony constantly. I would have to talk to her about that some time. I don’t even know if she realizes that she does it. Having your wolf constantly in your mind can be distracting and at times annoying but suppressing Harmony for too long could have drastic consequences. Our wolves n

Xander's POV I was expecting the worst when I busted the door down to Jessica's house, but I was not expecting the scene before me. What I could tell had once been a pristine beige sofa was now split into multiple pieces and thrown throughout the living room. Her once solid wood coffee table was now splintered into a thousand shards. My heart starts beating frantically as my ears pick up on pained moans coming from further in the house. I run down the hall toward the noise and enter a small kitchen where a scene from a horror movie greeted me. Our Gamma, Brian and his right hand, Tony were bound to two kitchen chairs with their backs to each other with duct tape. I can't see the extent of Tony's injuries, but I am almost positive they mirror Brian's. Whoever did this cut Brian open from neck to navel and stuffed him full of wolfsbane to prevent him from healing and damn near liquifying every organ it touched. There was no way he would come back from this. If I had come looking for

Ronan's POVMy blood is boiling and my heart is beating wildly against my chest while Ghost is going ballistic, wanting to unleash is wrath on Xander for hurting our mate. The fact of the matter is that id he were anyone else, he would be in a world of hurt if not dead. It's taking every last ounce of strength in me to keep Ghost in check. Xander better get himself in line a adjust his attitude sooner rather than later because I don't know how much longer I will be able to contain him. He is out for blood."When we get back to the pack house, it would be in your best interest to keep your distance from me and Willow. Ghost is furious at yu right now and the last thing I want to do is hurt you. I can't say the same for Ghost," I warn him.Xander said nothing, he just nodded his head and quietly climbed back into the car with his head down. That was more like it. I sigh in frustration and climb into the drivers seat. I originally had Willow drive because I was too upset and distracted b

Ronan's POV"And when he does, I will be there with my eyes on you. We are not letting you get yourself killed. We will figure out a way to save Jessica. If it's not too late that is."I feel a special kindred toward Pete now, even more so than I did growing up. Before he was just the annoying friend that followed me everywhere and now that I know he isn't trying to put the moves on my mate, my fondness of him is growing. He loves Willow just as much as I do, just in a different way and I know that he would lay down his life for her. I wish I could say the same for Xander. When she first got here, Xander was all team Willow. Now his grief has him placing blame on her when it is not her burden to carry. He has lashed out on her so many times that I am not sure if their relationship will be salvageable when we get through this."We should probably head down now. Olivia should be here any minute now," I suggest to Willow.Pete looks to me, "Do you mind if I sit in on the meeting?"Willow
