บททั้งหมดของ His Sanctuary: บทที่ 61 - บทที่ 68

Before I start this chapter. I'm going to start using the first point of view and second point of view to make my writing easier. Thank you for understanding.—River's POVI always thought about Spencer's offer to marry him for a few days. I don't know if it's an offer or a proposal because it looks like a proposal, it's just that we're not lovers so it can't be called a proposal but an offer."Ugh! I really don't know what goes through Spencer's mind!" I whispered to myself. While I was under the shower, I suddenly thought then."What if I marry him? What will happen after that? Yeah! Let's say I'm already a Vilavide who is rich and powerful because of his last name I carry but on the other hand Spencer's behavior might get even worse and he will legally have me as his property."Possibilities ran through my mind while taking a shower until I finished taking it and was still thinking about Spencer's offer to me.What about my plans? I have to stick to my plan if I want freedom. But

River's POVBecause of what happened last night with Spencer, I suddenly got sick. I don't know but he is really strong in bed where I get bruises and body aches. Sometimes I think he's like a monster every time he has sex with me. "Mommy are you okay?"Spawn suddenly asked openly. When he found out that I'm not feeling well, He immediately came to the mansion and asked me the same question."I'm fine sweetie no worries!" I answered with a smile. "Nanny Jane said you're not fine." He insists."It was an hour ago my son but now I'm fine after taking medicine." I answered with a smile to convince him that I'm fine.Spawn and I turned our heads when someone suddenly opened the door and Spencer's bulk was exposed to us. Spawn immediately smiled when he saw his father. "Good evening dad." Spawn greeted his father as he approached us."Good evening hijo. What are you doing here? Don't you still have school?" Spencer asked, glancing at Spawn and looking back at me."I came here when I hea

River's POVDuring my few stays at the mansion, I also found delightment that also came with responsibility because I was assigned by Spencer to manage his foundation. I don't really think that one Spencer Vilavide cares about the elderly and children who have been abandoned by their families and orphaned by their parents. I know Spencer has many flaws. That is not hidden from my knowledge because I have seen and know what he does behind the public eye. He has illegal businesses that you really don't want to be involved in because of this chaotic system, but on the other hand, he has more legal businesses to cover up his true personality. Everyone knows that he is ruthless and impatient, so many people are afraid to provoke him. So I really can't believe that he created a foundation that is open to everyone who needs help.Even though I was tired coming home from the mansion, it was worth it because I was able to serve many elderly and children at the foundation. Their smiles made me

River's POVAfter we got to the mansion, Spencer continued drinking alcohol and no matter how much I tried to stop him, he didn't stop, so I just let him. I know he's still hurt by his past and I can't blame him if he's struggling to forget that. If you were the one who was abused by your own parents, won't you hold a grudge? Even me who was sold and left in the air by my family had a grudge against them. How about Spencer? That had suffered even worse. Then suddenly I feel guilty about my evil plans with Spencer."Oh River! What are you going to do?" I whispered to myself.Again, I remembered Spencer sob while we were on the yacht. It didn't sink into my mind that a ruthless and no sympathy man like Spencer could even cry. The saying is true, when you are hurt. Tears will be uncontrollable no matter how much you hold back. You will still cry one's heart out no matter how strong you are. I was about to take a nap when I suddenly heard a loud crash from the other room so I got up with
