“I told Amanda our little secret,” Gordon said. Gabriel furrowed his brows and looked at Amanda before turning back to Gordon.“I know it was too soon and I should have told you before telling her but things escalated and I just had to.” Gordon explained.“It’s alright. So what’s the fuss about?” Gabriel asked. He noticed how Amanda squeezed her face, she does that when the needs something she knows she can’t get easily.“Uhh.. She wants in.” Gordon said.“I knew she would. Not happening.” Gabriel said.“Please, Gab. I need this, I want to be like you.” Amanda begged.“You do not. We’re murderers, we can’t drag you into our mess too.” Gabriel said. He knew Amanda was overwhelmed by the possibility of getting rid of the pain that comes with turning on the full moon and also being able to turn whenever she pleases.“This is not fair.” Amanda sulked.“Life isn’t, dear. You won’t be able to live with the guilt.” Gabriel said.“Then test me.” Amanda revolted.“You can’t be serious.” Gordon

“I hope you’re happy.” Gabriel said.“Gab, why don’t you understand? I’m not cutting you off, let’s just experience how it feels to live apart from each other. That’s all.” Amanda said.“Only thing I hear is that you are bored by our company and you want new friends. I can’t imagine that you would throw away the friendship we built over the years for some stupid experience. It’s not worth it, you’d regret this.” Gabriel said and then, ran off to find Gordon.Amanda was shattered. She lost her best friend and her boyfriend on the same day. All she wanted was to be away from them just this once, to know how it feels, to try to protect herself and stand up for herself instead of having the both of them do it. She wanted to meet new people and explore the world but she cannot do that if she is always with Gabriel and Gordon. She didn’t feel stifled by their presence, she just wanted to grow up, to see what it is like without the both of them around. Either way, it was a stupid decision

“Amanda… I’m here to hear you out. What you said yesterday was very heartbreaking. If you love someone the way you say you do, you would not leave like that. You really want your freedom, right?” Gabriel said. He tried to be calm because he promised Gordon that he would try to make her change her mind.Amanda was elated to see Gabriel. She thought he would never speak to her again. This time, she hoped they would agree once and for all.“Yeah, I know. I’m sorry for bringing it up suddenly. I didn’t want to tell you guys earlier because I knew that both of you would tempt me into trashing my thoughts. “Do not get me wrong, Gab. I am not cutting the both of you off, we can always hang out. I know It is just three hours drive from Harvard to NYU. We can still make this work.” Amanda said.“Well… Your mind has been made up. I can’t dissuade you no matter how much I try. It’s fine but you need to talk to Gordon, he is not taking this very well.” Gabriel said.“I will.. “ Amanda said and g

“So I’m supposed to understand that you two teenagers activated the parallel curse.” Seth finally spoke up after listening to Gabriel for a couple of minutes. He had heard about the possibility of that but never cared to try it out.“What’s that?” They both asked at the same time.“What you just told me. Activating the highest dimension of our curse by killing someone.” Seth explained.“Oh, that is what it is called.” Gabriel said.“Well, you must not let anyone know about this. It is against the rules, werewolves should not have access to this knowledge, it may turn out very bad. I will not punish you two for this because I did not tell you earlier.” Seth said.“Thank you, dad.” Gabriel said. “Thank you, uncle.” Gordon said.“Remember, do not let anyone find out,” Seth said and dismissed them both.“That was easy.” Gordon said as he sighed deeply.“Not so fast, you haven’t paid for killing Stephen yet.” Gabriel whispered.“That’s right.” Gordon said but somehow, he felt lighter. As t

“What’s wrong? Where is Yvette?” Devereux asked. “You can’t see Yvette.” Darin said.“Why not?” Devereux asked. “Because she is dead, I killed her but it was not on purpose, I loved her so much, more than life itself but I could not control myself. You were right, I did not deserve her. If I had let her be, she would still be alive till now.” Darin said.Tears rolled down Devereux’s cheeks as she heard Darin say those words but she expected them, it was her plan all along.“I had to do this. My sister is dead because of you. If she had listened to me, she would have listened to me and saved herself this whole drama.” Devereux said.“Wh-What do you mean?” Darin asked. He could not understand what she was saying.“I meant everything I said. I brought back your insanity, you were healed but I brought it back. The plan was to scare Yvette away but now, she is dead because of her stubbornness.” Devereux said.“You are insane! You killed my wife!” Darin screamed. His heart hurt so bad. He
