“Today is your birthday and we sing to let you know…That you will be queen for the day…Whatever you say goes!”Gordon and Gabriel sang for Amanda. They pulled up the louvers and woke her up with a birthday song they usually sang for themselves. Yes, Amanda would be the queen for the day, is there any day she isn’t?Gabriel played the guitar and left most of the singing to Gordon, he had a beautiful voice. Gordon wasn’t able to tell Gabriel that he’s with Amanda when they went to get the gifts for Amanda the other day, he planned on telling him right now.Amanda was so excited, she was served breakfast in bed and was showered with all sorts of gifts. She’s very lovable and also very kind to everyone, she received lots of gifts from most members of the pack, Gordon, Gabriel, Christine, Oliver, Daisy, and Seth. It was a very beautiful day.Gabriel and Gordon had planned dinner at a fancy restaurant for the three of them.“There’s something I want to tell you… We want to tell you.”

“Aunt Gina… I tried the spell last night, it worked but I couldn’t see his face. I only heard his voice and it seemed like it was running away from me, I ran after it but it was long gone by then. Did I do anything wrong?” Minx asked.“Uhmm.. I don’t think so, I set everything up for you and it was perfect, I’ll look it up but don’t stop trying. Maybe this time, you should believe in it more.” Gina said and smiled at her.“Okay…” Minx said. Gina was about leaving when Minx stopped her. She wasn’t sure if she should ask the question or not but she decided to; “Do you think my mom would ever forgive me?” Minx asked, innocently. Gina had betrayed her before and now, her own daughter. She imagined her mother would be in pain but she didn’t know whether to believe it or not. Mrs. Jackson was so cold when she kicked Minx out of the house. Maybe she’s used to cruelty and doesn’t know any other way.“I hope… I don’t think she has forgiven me either but everyone has a soft spot. I believe th

“And Minx, there’s something you need to know.” Gina said. She looked serious.“What’s that?” Minx asked as she wiped the tears off her face. She had decided to call her mom later, at least, she knows that she doesn't despise her as she thought.“You may not like to hear this.” Gina said but she continued anyway.“I don’t think you can perform that spell again. I think it comes with a curse. Each time it works, you’ll be taking Gabriel closer to his death bed.” Gina said.“Wh-What? H-How? I…I do-don’t understand.” Minx stuttered. She didn’t understand what her aunt meant by that. Drawing him closer to his death bed? What the fuck does that mean?“Every spell demands a sacrifice and the sacrifice needed depends on the kind of spell. You are invoking him to the unreal world which is very close to the land of the dead. Each time you do that, you’re taking him closer to his end. I’m sure that he would be sick as we speak. You must not do that again, it’s dangerous.” Gina explained.“B-But

Gordon heaved a deep sigh, he was scared and embarrassed at the same time. Amanda would probably hate him after finding out what he did but he had to tell her anyhow.“Come on, spill,” Amanda said as she sat on the bed close to Gordon. She held his face, raised it, and kissed him; “I won’t judge, I promise.” Amanda said.“Oh, hell yea you wouldn’t judge. You’d be too terrified and forget this promise.” Gordon thought to himself.“I killed Stephen..” Gordon said. He paused for a while and studied Amanda's expression before he continued. “I didn’t mean to. I was so angry that I didn’t know when to let go. I just wanted to teach him a lesson, I mean, he almost raped you and I couldn’t have that. “I know that nothing I say or do would bring him back but I truly regret my actions and I wish I could go back to that day, I’ll do things differently.” Gordon said. He fought back the tears that made their way to his eyes. Since the incident, his conscience had been haunting him tirelessly.

In her trance, she was running for her life, and then she stumbled upon a coven of witches. In these times, it’s very rare to see a witch not talk of a group of them, most of them belonged to different packs, and the ones that do not want to be under the control of some alpha king went into hiding They welcomed her and took her in, despite sensing that she was a wolf. She hid the fact that she’s a wolf blood witch from them, she wasn’t sure how they would react. She was running because she possessed something that she thought the humans needed, something she didn’t realize she had. She didn’t know what it was but she knew that it would kill her if she let it go. She had been hiding from them for months until they got their hands on the Shuriken; a material that was made out of the blood of a wolf blood witch, Minx’s blood to be precise. This Shuriken gave the humans an upper hand as they could use it to track her down.Minx told the witches all about it, but they couldn’t be of hel
