Arabella skillfully worked the wet mop on the cream colored marble tiles, as she worked vigorously. She had been instructed to do a general clean up of the house, which included rooms she would not normally clean, and she was trying her best to do her work well.It had been four days since she came into this mansion, and everyday it seemed she uncovered a new room, or some hidden chamber. Nevertheless, the place was so big.The days going by speedily, she recounted how she helped Mrs George in the kitchen, spent her time doing laundry most times and eating her meals in the room. When she wasn't doing laundry, she was shelving and rearranging books in the large library - the place which was soon becoming her favorite place in this large house.Even though she didn't get a chance to read anything from her master's grand collection, being surrounded by so much knowledge and art was something she really appreciated, and she cherished her time there so much.Arabella had also noticed som

Klaus drove fast.Faster than the speed of a raging cheetah, his legs never left the throttle, and gripping the steering wheel like his life depended on it, his dark onyx orbs shimmered with a glistering red.His face was lit up with raw anger, and rage enough to burn down an entire building. He huffed as he kept his feet glued to the accelerator of his car. Whoever it was, the man that had caused him to leave his house at such a time, and with such a temper, he would surely pay immensely for it.He fumed at the thought. Hell was going to receive at least one visitor today that he was more than sure of. Klaus Lavon could forgive anything, but not when it had to do with his money, and wasting his resources. The way he hated liars and thieves, that was the same way he abhorred deceitful humans too. When he arrived at the dock, he climbed down from his jet black Mercedes and slammed the door shut. His men were at the entrance, two of them already waiting, to welcome and usher him in bu

Klaus continuously dug his glove-covered fists into the punching bag in front of him, hitting his frustrations out and exercising his body at the same time. He was fond of his workouts - which he had done earlier that morning - but now he was back in his gym for a different reason. Not one rather, but two reasons. As he dug punches into the leather bag in front of him, ever so constantly hd imagined himself digging his fists into the face of the man who had dared to cheated and lie to him earlier. Killing him would have been a waste of his time and powers, and erasing his memory was a far worse punishment than death, knowing he would not be recovering from that anytime soon except Klaus reversed the spell, and that wasn’t even forthcoming anytime soon.Yet, as he constantly worked his entire body out, the sweat rolling of him causing his black vest to stick to his body like his second skin, he could not stop his thoughts from wandering to the second reason, as to why he was just so

Another day had passed, and Arabella was made to do most of the work, including cooking, washing and laundry. However, she was spared from cleaning the master's room, because his cleaner Johnny, was back and she was more than thankful for that. She spent her day getting busy with the chores, and it was to note that she didn’t take breakfast with her master that morning because he insisted on going to work without it.Hence, she was left with the torturous task of counting the hours until he was back for dinner.Alas, the long awaited hour of reckoning had come. She had often heard Mrs George speak of how much the master loved chopped lambs and liver, with steak and Arabella had liked to wonder if there was even a pint of vegetarian blood in his body. She made sure she had one of his men pick out his best wine from the wine cellar downstairs, and it was different from his personal one.She had already set the table with the assorted dishes and drinks, waiting patiently in her seat for

Arabella let out a huge sigh of relief, the second she realized it was her master who lurked in the shadows like a bloody serial killer.Nevertheless her heartbeat didn't slow down, neither did her clenched fist unclasp itself, as she stream at him with wide fearful eyes. She felt as though she had just lived through a horror movie, and there was even a great possibility that she might go through worse with him in front of her.Now able to speak after fruitlessly searching for her voice after so many seconds, she rubbed her sweaty hands by her sides and swallowed the lump that rose in her throat."Master, what are you…?" She tried to ask, but before she could finish he all but cut her off with a deep chuckle. Why was he laughing, and why was he smiling as he walked towards her?She was becoming scared all of a sudden, her legs failing to keep her standing still, but then she managed to maintain a strong and stiff front. He seemed to have sensed her fear, and from the way he looked at
