Author's POVCara was standing in front of the mirror, looking at herself for the hundredth time now. Just joking. But even she doesn’t know how many times she has checked herself out in this dressing table’s mirror in her dorm room. Yes you guessed it right, she is getting ready for her date with Chase. She is wearing a simple white knee length dress. It has a v neck line and sleeves are reaching up to her wrist. They are fitted perfectly to her delicate arms. It’s very simple dress but she is liking her look in this dress. She doesn’t have any expensive or fashionable clothes for special occasions. She didn’t want to wear dress and was planning on wearing her regular jeans and top for this date. But Sapphire convinced her in wearing this white dress which they found hiding in the back of her dresser. Cara had purchased this dress before coming to this town. Sapphire said it would go really well with her simple but beautiful personality. ‘And it will definitely leave Chase wit

Author’s POV Chase moved in his sleep when he felt a warm breath over his lips and his heartbeat quickened. He opened his eyes and came face to face with the most angelic face he has ever seen in his entire life. She was sleeping sideways beside him. Her brown hairs covering half of her face but still she looked so peaceful at this moment. She was looking so beautiful that it was hard for his cold heart to take in that amount of innocence and purity. He noticed he was still holding her hand in his firmly just like yesterday night but only difference was that now he was holding their locked hands to his heart. His other hand was wrapped around her waist keeping her close whereas her other hand was resting on his bicep, fisting his shirt in her tiny fist like a new born baby. Their faces were only few inches away and he didn’t want anything else than to close the distance between their lips. But he stopped himself. He is already in trouble by being so forward with her. First he

Author’s POV After leaving Cara in front of her classroom, Chase drove to his boxing club where he teaches boxing. His club even organizes underground fights sometimes when boxers from nearby locations come there to compete against one another. But he does all of this legally. He can mess around with anything but not with his work. And this boxing club is his passion. He reached there and saw his friends are already waiting for him. They strode towards Chase as soon as their eyes fell on him. “What’s wrong? Why do you look so pissed?” John asked. “Do you have to ask? Of course he is worried for Cara after what happened to her last night” George said. “Is there anything else that is bothering you?” John asked ignoring George’s words. ‘Yes I am pissed at myself. I think that I have put her in danger. Everything that had happened to her last night was my fault. Someone did it to her, for getting back at me’ this is what he wants to scream out. So that he can feel a little light

Author’s POV One month later...Cara came out of the changing room wearing the black dress. Chase who was looking at other dresses turned around when he heard her sandals clicking on the tile floor. His breath got stuck in the back of his throat as his eyes slightly widened upon seeing her wearing the dress, he selected himself. It was a black coloured, A line off shoulder dress. It was fitting her upper body perfectly and was flaring out around her legs, stopping right above her knees. She was wearing black flat sandals. He was still glued to his place. He swallowed hard while admiring the beauty in front of his eyes. He came out of his trance when her soft, hesitant voice fell on his ears. “How is it? Is it looking good on me?” she asked. He released a breath that he didn’t even know he was holding. He walked towards her stopping right in front of her, not even leaving a step’s distance. His left hand went up to tug few strands of her hairs behind her ear as other got wrapped

Author’s POV “Would you like to hear my story?” she asked and her voice came out just as a whisper. Chase felt her heartbeat increasing to an abnormal level where their bodies were connected, when she mentioned the words ‘my story’. He didn’t say anything for a moment and just rubbed her back with his palm. He placed a soft gentle kiss on her hairs. Slowly her heartbeat became normal. When he felt like that she is okay now, he pulled away a little so that he can stare into her eyes. Her eyes were red and puffy due to all the crying. “I would love to know everything about you Cara, but you don’t have to do it now. We can talk when you are actually ready to share. No need to feel pressured. You know what I mean right?” he said softly. His one hand was wiping her tear stained face and another one was drawing soft soothing circles on her back. She smiled at his words, “I know I don’t have to but I really want to share everything with you. And I think that if I didn’t do it today, I
