***By the time Rufus got back home, it was already forty eight minutes past nine in the night. As he was about to enter his mansion, he saw a mail man who was about to ring the gate bell. He had to pull over beside him to know what he wanted by that time of the night."Hey, this is my house, looking for someone?" Rufus asked. The mail man used a nose mask and a face cap so it was hard to know what he looked like. "Yes, I was asked to deliver this to Mrs Nora Williams," the mail man said in a muffled voice as he handed Rufus a sealed envelope."Okay, she lives here, I would give it to her." Rufus said as he collected the envelope from him. The mail man left immediately and Rufus drove in.He kept wondering what the content of the envelope was and who must have sent it to her.Anyways, this is going to give him the opportunity to converse with her when he wants to give her the envelope. As soon as he went in, he met Bella waiting for him in the sitting room, stomping her foot on t

** The next morning ** "So other changes that need to be made?" Nora asked her P.A as her hands worked tirelessly on her laptop. She was actually on a voice call with her personal assistant who is managing all her businesses for the time being till she puts to bed. "I will make a list and send it to your email ma," "Okay dear, I am hanging up now. Don't forget to place a call through me once anything comes up." Nora told her and then, the call ended Nora sighed as she continued working on her laptop, she was busy replying emails and trying to balance some financial calculations too.Richard just left the house a few minutes ago for his company. "Lest I forget," Nora suddenly said as she picked up the brown envelope that was laying next to her.It was the same brown envelope that Rufus gave to her last night, she hadn't checked it since then. She removed the seal and brought out the letter that was inside. The first thing that caught her attention was the writings, it was all wri

***"You should get going sis, it's getting late already and Richard must be worried about you by now. He has been calling you but you've refused to pick, should I drive you back home?" Seraphina suggested to Nora who was laying on the bed with a duvet wrapped around her body. She has been at Seraphina's place since morning and has refused to leave. She is greatly bothered about what Carson might be planning against her and she feels so scared.Richard has called her line repeatedly but she has refused to pick up, he sent her messages but she didn't even bother reading them. She is not just in the mood to talk with anyone. "Apart from that, you've also refused to eat anything. Stop allowing Carson's empty threats to weigh you down like this. He can do more than a mosquito, you're bigger than him, Nora. So stop being worried over nothing!" Seraphina said but Nora didn't even bulge. Seraphina suddenly pulled the duvet from Nora's body and yelled at her to stand up. "Seraphina, can you

** Rufus mansion ** Nora couldn't sleep, her eyes were wide open as Richard's hands were wrapped around her, he was asleep already. The main reason she couldn't sleep was not because of the closeness between her and Richard in bed, she was just greatly bothered about the text message that Carson sent to her a few hours ago. It's scaring her alot, she couldn't stop thinking about how Carson got her number in the first place. He seems really prepared for her and she is damn scared. Maybe she is going to report to the cops. But she doesn't want to get anyone involved, Carson is insane, he might decide to hurt someone else that is dear to her. That's why she needs to be careful in dealing with him. The time was 2 am already and sleep is far away from her, she doesn't wish to sleep anytime soon."Maybe stepping outside a little bit would help me feel better or make me stop thinking about the whole thing." Nora muttered and slowly took away Richard's wrapped arm around her waist. She th

** Two days later ** It's been two days since the whole incident happened and Nora finally got discharged from the hospital. The doctor advised her to stay at the hospital to have enough rest since she was complaining of headaches, that's the reason why she got discharged after two days. During her stay in the hospital, Rufus and Richard's parents came to check up on her and also brought her gifts. The duo were angry at their sons and scolded them properly. They even suggested that Nora and Richard leave Rufus's mansion since the brothers can't stand each other but Nora bluntly refused.Seraphina advised her to quit the whole thing or come stay at her house for a while because she couldn't risk her sister's life in the hands of the two brothers but Nora refused. It was just an accident even though she was still very much mad at Richard. She refused to talk to him or either Rufus when she was at the hospital. Richard wouldn't stop apologizing for his ignorance and bought a lot of gif
