Dead? That would be the last thing Riverstone would want to hear as regards his daughter not after the threat he had just faced a few hours back, he just hoped his daughter was on her best behavior and not doing anything that would warrant Travis to want to blow her brains out because he would surely do it without a blink of an eye.As Travis walked hurriedly to the backyard of his mansion, he hopped into his car as the other guards drove behind him because the swimming section was far from the mansion. When he arrived, he didn't fully get down from his car when he caught sight of a lady driving his car at full speed passing him as Stone followed suit in a motorbike shooting at his car continuously."What the hell?" He shouted, getting back into his car as he signaled his men to chase after her. "This fucking bitch," he kissed his teeth twirling his car at full speed towards the direction Stone went.Emily ducked a couple of times as bullets flew in different towards her. She gasped

He released his hands from her mouth and stepped back still pointing the gun at her forehead, he shaked the gun motioning her to get out of the bed quickly, Emily slowly struggled to get out of the bed but she just couldn't.She never left the bed just like that, they always placed her in the wheelchair after Leonard or Cam carried her gently on it.Leonard wasn't aware that Cam was carrying her once in a while, she was sure if he was aware he would cut Cam's hand."I..I.. can't.." Emily groaned in pain holding on to her stomach and leaning back into the bed, where was Leonard? Maybe she could stall a bit till he got here but how was Stone able to get in so easily. Her room was well guarded by Leonard's men, except he killed them. She watched Stone roll the wheelchair to her side, he slowly adjusted her on the wheelchair and no matter how he tried, he was nothing like Leonard or Cam. He threw her on the chair as she groaned in pain."Shut it," he warned. Motioning the wheelchair slowl

"Here is the file boss," Gonzales said handing over the file to Travis. The file contained a list of names of their catch and minor details of them, although their business was illegal they always kept a record of everything even now as they were gathered here every minute was placed into writing.Travis went through the paperwork slowly, then flipped to the letter R, he was looking for a Riverstone but yet again some people would always use the wrong name when it came to writing their details out so he guessed that would be a tricky one. He went through the details instead but nothing was right about all the names that had Riverstone as their surname."Is this all the file?" Travis asked flipping it to the letter k."Yes boss," Gonzales replied not knowing who or what his boss was looking for.Travis went through the word Klar, five years ago he wasn't yet the boss as his father was still alive but he took note of some of the details and there were faces and incidents that one could

"He is..." Leonard trailed off as one of his guards came to whisper something into his ear, he nodded and placed a kiss on Emily's lips as he excused himself leaving Emily and Travis alone."He is going to find out soon who you truly are," Travis said."What do you want?""You should ask your side piece, he was the one that invited me.""Obviously for a reason, go straight to the point.""You are my woman, not his and he can't claim you.""So what? I am now an object that you both are planning on passing around?""Has he tasted you yet? Has he gotten to know that you are just a bitter fruit?"Smack!Travis felt Emily's hand on his face as she slapped him without remorse, he touched his face and burst into laughter."Still a stubborn bitch," Travis teased."If that is all you have to say, you should get the fuck out of here before I blow your brains off," Emily snapped furiously."I searched for you Thana but you just disappeared into thin air.""Was it after you told your girlfriend t

"I suppose she is Ivy," Leonard laid his opinion forward hoping he was correct."Em...""If she is uncomfortable on her own, she can move in," Leonard suggested. If Ivy was Chloe, it meant that the both of them had cooked up some story of who they were going to be and they strongly stood by their characters for years even convincing their adopted parents and the world of who they truly were. Why was she hiding? It was the question that bugged him the most."She can handle herself," Emily replied."I was thinking of resuming work next week, I feel much better," Emily added. She was truly feeling better, although she still had to support herself once in a while but by next week she was sure she would feel much better and her work didn't require much movement that could make her feel worse, just sitting down and handling a lot of paperwork. She thought doing nothing would be fun but it wasn't, she would have died of boredom if Chloe hadn't shown up today and since Leonard opened a small
