Epilogue Five Months Later Benita POV “Are you ready, guys?” I asked, crouching in front of Theo and Lila. They both nodded eagerly, their eyes gleaming with excitement. They could barely contain their giggles as they clutched the edges of their jackets, hiding the surprise we had planned for their father. “All right then,” I whispered. “Let’s go.” Hand in hand, we made our way toward Nathan’s study. The door was slightly ajar, and I could hear his deep voice over the phone, his tone sharp and authoritative—no doubt discussing something important. But the moment he caught sight of us standing at the threshold, his entire demeanor shifted. His expression softened, and a rare, genuine smile spread across his face. Without hesitation, he ended the call, setting his phone aside. “Well, well,” he mused, leaning back in his chair, his piercing eyes filled with curiosity. “To what do I owe this surprise visit?” Theo and Lila exchanged glances before grinning mischievously.

Alpha Theo’s POV The door to my room swung open, and Oscar stepped in. “I heard you disfigured your head guard’s face. What happened?” he asked, closing the door behind him. I sighed, taking a slow sip of my drink before setting it down. “That fool dared to lay his hands on Lagertha. I should have fucking killed him for it,” I spat, rage simmering in my veins. How dare he? How dare he even think of striking her? Oscar scoffed and took the seat across from me. “You know, if you had announced Lagertha as your mate, no one would have dared to touch her.” I rolled my eyes. “That is never happening, Oscar. I will never do that,” I said firmly, taking another sip of my drink. I hated it. I hated that the Moon Goddess had fated me to the one person I swore I would never have anything to do with. The plan had always been to ignore her—to pretend she didn’t exist. And I had been doing exactly that. Until six years ago, when my wolf announced her as my mate. Only Oscar knew about it. N

Lagertha’s POV “Please take this to Lady Lila,” Mother Agatha said, handing me a tray of juice. “Lady Lila is back? I thought she was spending a week in Cameron,” I said, confused. She had left just two days ago—why was she back so soon? Mother Agatha shrugged. “When you see her, you can ask her that. Now, move.” She gave me a slight shove toward the door. I took the stairs to Lady Lila’s room and knocked softly. At first, there was no response, so I knocked again. This time, her quiet voice answered from inside. “The door is open. Come in.” Gripping the doorknob, I pushed the door open and stepped inside. The moment I did, a nervous gulp slid down my throat. I had expected to find Lila alone, but she wasn’t. Seated beside her was Alpha Theo. Our eyes met, and I quickly looked away. I hated how nervous I became whenever he looked at me. Swallowing hard, I spoke. “Lady Lila, you asked for this,” I said softly. She nodded, gesturing for me to come closer. I hesitated before stepp

Alpha Theo's POV I pulled away with a sharp gasp, my hands gripping the sheets beside her head as I struggled to catch my breath. My heart raced, my entire body tense as Lagertha’s lips chased mine again, her fingers clutching at my shirt with desperate desire. “Lagertha,” I rasped, my voice thick with restraint. She whimpered in response, her heated skin brushing against mine as she pressed closer. Her lips trailed over my jaw, her breath warm and unsteady, her hands trembling as they slid down my torso. I barely had time to react before her fingers brushed against the front of my pants, and a strangled groan escaped me at the unexpected contact. My entire body tensed as I realized what they had given her. Sex-driven drugs. A growl rumbled deep in my chest as anger surged through me again, this time not just for the bastards who had dared to harm her, but for myself—for nearly losing control. I grabbed her wrists and pulled her hands away, but she whimpered, arching her

Alpha Theo’s POV That was never my intention, to ask her to take off her clothes. Damn, I never had that idea in mind for even a second. But when I realized I had to punish her and had no idea what punishment to give, that was the first thought that came to my mind. And the moment it left my lips, I couldn’t take it back. From where I stood, I watched Lagertha fumble with the zipper of her dress. Her hands trembled, her shoulders tense, and I could see just how nervous she was. For a split second, I almost told her to stop, to get out before this went any further. But the burning desire inside me wouldn’t let me. Ever since she blossomed into the stunning, irresistible lady she is now, I had been dreaming of the day I would see her naked, hold her in my arms, and worship her body. Nudity isn’t unusual among us; members of the same pack often strip together before shifting. But Lagertha… I haven’t been privileged to see her naked because she hasn’t gotten her wolf yet. But now,
