“Oh sure, have a seat.”Olivia was still somewhat shocked as he sat down next to her. He was precise, what she remembered, sincere looking and honest. Without all the arrogance, with that strikingly handsome face, so unlike many men, including Marvin Peck, who is attractive but overly confident and self-assured.They both went to try to speak at the same time. "You go first," Olivia says."In short, I want to apologize for the way I left things. That morning, when I left, I did intend to call you. But reality hit me, and I didn't know how to deal with everything." "What is everything? I asked you if you were in a serious relationship. And Collin, you told me no." "My parents and environment want me to follow all this culture and customs. It has us divided and confused about what we should and should not like and love. But I no longer want to be confused and caught up in those ideas and views. And I know, being with someone like you and you being with someone like me, it's not going

"I...I...I, please get up from there, Mr. Halston." Mr. Reid said as he came from around his desk to help Collin stand up straight, seeing the tears in his eyes. "I still want to talk to your parents, and only then can I feel comfortable giving you my approval." Collin says humbly, "Yes, sir... I'll call them now."Collin knew this plot he and Olivia had devised was thickening. But it was too late to turn back, so they kept up the charade so that Olivia's parents would accept him. But there was no way Collin could call his birth father, Mr. Halston, whom he doesn't even speak to and who doesn't acknowledge him as his son. Indeed, it would all blow up in their faces if he did that. In this desperate moment, he could only call one person: Amanza's father, Clinton, who had always treated him like a son. Collin prayed that Mr. Clinton wouldn't blow his cover by telling Olivia's parents he was not his biological father. After Mr. Reid helped Collin stand up from bowing before him, he wa

Collin would go to work and try to focus, and each minute, hour, day, and month that went by, the thought of him not being with his wife seemed so strange. The only person who understood was his brother, Holland. He was reunited with Amanza, and now Collin could see he loved her. Collin couldn't believe how weak he felt without Olivia. Before this separation, he'd always thought of him as having everything together and that nothing bothered him. Collin’s phone rang in his office."Hey, Amanza, how are things going today?" "About the same. I wake up every day, and when I open my eyes, I hope that she will be there when I look at my side of the bed, but it's empty." "Do you want to go get a drink with me and Holland?" "No, thanks. I will get a bite to eat and then go home and figure out what I can do next to make the time go by faster as long as my blood runs through my veins. I'm going to endure this test. Look, I've got to go." Collin was too drained."I'm always here for you." "

Olivia smiled, "I'm just happy the family will be able to attend this ceremony."He smiled endlessly, looking at Olivia. "Okay, let's get your signature on that wedding license."Collin pulls up to the city, Olivia is looking very pretty, she is in a dress he likes The scent of vanilla, hair of Lavender, aglow with a smile. Collin is taking her to a place he knows she is going to love The scenery of the outskirts of London is romantic with its electric combination of architectural styles and predates the creation of the United Kingdom in the 21st century While he's driving, Collin reaches over. He takes hold of Olivia's hand, softly caressing it as he looks at her with love. "I'll take you anywhere you say." She responds, "Baby, just take me to your hideaway." Collin drove about an hour away from the city; he pulled up in a white convertible. Olivia and Collin stop at this elegant little restaurant called "Glass" on the hillside, giving them a view of the city grounds covered in

Now, they are genuinely able to enjoy this gorgeous place. A beautiful candlelight dinner was ready for the newlywed couple. The moonlight wrapped around them. Collin's eyes came close to her face as he whispered in her ear."My beautiful queen."If I were to live forever, I would never forget the first time I saw you. I never knew a girl who could move my heart but one, and that's you, Olivia. I know I don't measure up, but I promise each year of our lives together, I will keep trying to become the man you deserve." Collin said softly, kissing the palm of Olivia’s hand. " "I've been called beautiful, but never a queen," she says, blushing. "Oh, baby, come here. The love we've shared is the sweetest thing. You're more of a man than any man I could ever want. You're brave, Collin. You stood up to my parents and anyone who questions our love."You're such a brave man, and I..I will always love and respect you for that from the four corners of my heart. I will be by your side for the res
