Holland's PerspectiveWhen I opened my eyes the next day, the sun had risen. All my thoughts went to my wife, who was sleeping only a few feet away. It was the start of a beautiful week because she was still here with me. I couldn't believe it, and Amanza and I were on talking terms. If I didn't want that to end, I needed to take some time off from work.“Mmm, last night, she was so temptingly beautiful.”I smiled, and my heart felt light as I tugged on my underwear. I repeatedly paced, "I can't take off from work just yet. I need to implement some changes right away."“Good morning,” Amanza says sweetly.“Good morning, my love. Are you feeling okay?”“Yes, I’m great. What about you? If you are too tired, can you rest today?” Who now looks like a tall, dark, and handsome predator this morning. He wore a crisp white shirt, deep blue tie, and charcoal grey suit pants that fit his powerfully tapered thighs and muscular legs.“No, I’m okay. Thanks for thinking about me.” I say, looking at

Holland lay in bed after hanging up the phone. He hoped he did not sound too cold-hearted. But he realized he couldn’t worry about that right now."Later that afternoon: Amanza POVWe enjoyed the sweet heat by day on the beach playing. I playfully ran down the beach. Holland caught me in his arms, and I told him, "I'm so glad you're here with me."The rough sound of his voice against my hair made me shiver. Holland's voice seemed more profound, his arms resting on the small of my back as he pressed my body against his, telling me."Amanza, are you happy to be here with me?" Hearing him say my name made my heart leap with joy. A feeling I thought I would never get to experience again."Yes, I'm glad I stayed." Being held by Holland on the beach, cradled in his arms as the evening sun beamed down on us, it all had been like a fairy tale. But I wanted to think about something other than its ending. Ultimately, the city's beloved prince will leave and return to his princess Susie and their

Susan's Narrative:Susan quickly hung up the phone and began to undo her hair, combing it, ensuring she looked perfect for Holland's arrival. She feels more appealing and attractive now that she has had the baby. Indeed, she could get him back now. When Susie realized that Hailey was back, probably for good, she decided to fight harder than before to get and keep Holland. Susie, after putting forth the effort to look temptingly pretty and seductive. She paced back and forth in her bedroom as she tucked her hair behind her ear.'I have to be direct tonight and tell him how I feel. I can’t let him get back with Amanza. I can't just keep sitting and waiting on him.' Susie pondered over her words, thinking carefully about what she would say to the man she loved. It was killing her to know Amanza was truly back in his life, taking her place. I thought she would move on with Collin, but she put her claws in Holland. ‘Now that he knows who she truly is, he will want her over me! I thought s

(Narration of characters from this point on until POV is indicated in the story. Thanks for reading, and continue to enjoy! ^^)Holland left feeling sad as Susie's words rang in his head. 'Maybe I should go back and check on her. Or I will call the doctor and have him check on her.’ Holland didn't think moving on with his life from Susie would be this difficult. He had allowed his heart to be more concerned for her than he realized. It wasn’t out of love but out of indebtedness. He always told himself that he was doing it for Lucas, his friend, but if he was, honestly, he liked the attention he got from Susie when she came home. Especially since he had lost his way in his marriage to Amanza. But now things are back on track in his marriage. What he's experiencing with Amanza feels different from what he had with Susie. It felt good and right. Holland wanted to have his heart interwoven and intertwined with his wife's. 'I don't want to be a man with a divided brain. Part of my heart i

"There's no turning back. So let's vow to put aside our three-year drought of a sometimes sexless and loveless marriage. I’m willing to give you what I want and what you want, Amanza. That way, we'll never have to be apart once we do this. You'll become my obligation. I want to start over again, vowing to you right now I promise to protect you, and love you and you'll be all mine."I laughed softly, "I don't feel married to you. But to be honest, Holland. For the last year of our marriage you have been more committed to someone else than to me. If I give into this temptation by letting everyone know we are married. I stand to lose a lot. I’m not the Amanza you knew. I’m an heir to a jewelry empire. I have so much to lose.""I want everyone to know we are in love. What can I do other than make it known to the world that I am your man, Amanza?"At this moment, utterly weak, fighting to be strong. I want to give in, but what will tomorrow bring? Will I have a shattered heart and life agai
