บททั้งหมดของ Gina's Revenge: Return of the Heiress : บทที่ 41 - บทที่ 50

Julian's POVI could feel my blood rush as I sat down on the lobby seats, staring at the ceiling aimlessly. Lily must be in serious pains by now. She looked so pale on our way to the hospital. Is this what Gina experienced when she lost her baby? I felt a pang of guilt gnawing at my chest but I dismissed it.It wasn't my idea to poison Gina. Lily came up with that on her own Accord, if I knew she was going to do that, I would have spoke up against it.Anyways, this might be Lily's retribution time. Or maybe her own pains is just intense?I shook my head to brush these negative thoughts away. The time was past 4am by the time I checked my phone. My heart raced when I got a call from one of my friends. I had called him for support earlier.“Hey man. What's up?” I asked, swallowing down the lump in the throat that formed this night.“I'm sorry about your wife's condition. I wish I could help but I'm low on funds at the moment.” He said. The world around me darkened and I felt like I was

Julian's POVI held Lily's waist as I guided her down the hallway. I guided her to the car parked outside and helped her get inside. Leaving her at the back passenger seat, I went to the driver's seat and started the engine. It revved back to life and we drove off.Lily looked so pale and weak, her eyes were shut throughout most of our journey home.“Sweetie, is there anything you'd want me to get for you along the way?” I asked, attempting to strike a conversation but she shook her head in the negative.“Are you sure you're comfortable?” I asked again, looking backwards to catch a glimpse of her face. She simply nodded in the affirmative without saying another word. I decided to respect her silence and keep driving. We got to our home and parked in the driveway. Before I could get the door for her, she opened and walked out firmly. She walked ahead to the front door and knocked without turning to look at me. Her sudden silence and cold demeanor, seemed odd to me.I locked the car do

Lily's POVAs I screamed out for help in my dream, my eyes flew open. I looked around the room in panic, the environment looking strange to me.I rose quietly from the floor and headed into the bathroom. As I removed my clothes, I turned on the shower faucet and allowed the warm water to pour on me.It was both refreshing and soothing. I remained there for a long time, wondering about the relevance of this dream I just had. When I finally came out of the bathroom, I slid into a loose fitting gown and lay down quietly on the bed. I don't know how long I remained in that position, but I soon drifted off to sleep. I was a bit subconscious when Julian came into my room and sat by my bedside.“Hey Baby. You look so tired. I wish there was anything I could do to help you out of this situation.” He took my hand in his, caressing my fingers.I was wide awake but I shut my eyes so that he would think I'm still sleeping. If only he would let go of my hand and go away. His presence makes me ups

Julian's POVLily sprag up, like one who was stung by an ant.“Excuse me? What the fuck do you mean by ‘all you do is sleep’?” She asked, anger creeping into her voice.Great. We are finally going to have this conversation.“Is that not what you do? You lie on bed, sleep, eat, bathe, rinse and repeat for three straight days now. How long do you plan to continue like this?” I insisted.“What else do you want me to be doing?” “You're not the first to loose a child. Your stepsister suffered a miscarriage too, remember? And the funniest part is that you orchestrated it. She was still strong enough to return from the hospital and keep living. But you…Oh my goodness.”“So you're comparing me to Gina now? Isn't it? Her body is different from mine in so many ways. Besides, why must you almost rub it on my face that I caused her miscarriage?”she asked.“Did you not?” I intercepted.“Julian, you're unbelievable. I didn't expect this from you.” she said, shaking her head.“Find something and ma

Elena's POV(That same evening)Since Monica came, she has been in the guest room with Lily. I brew a cup of coffee and was about to carry it into the room.I knocked, waiting for a response when Monica's harsh voice rang out, “who is it?” “It’s Elena. I have a cup of coffee for my lady.” She opened the door and I came inside. Lily looked worse than before. Her hair was unkept, her eyes puffy and red with dark circles beneath. Her face looked swollen and her cheekbones were so visible.“Here you go Ma'am.” She carried the saucer with shaky hands, barely taking a sip. Her hands were shaking so bad that before I could take the cup back from her hand, it fell and squashed on the floor.“What is wrong with you? You clumsy oaf! You can't even hold a cup well, do you want the shards to injure her?” Monica shouted, spanking my butt.I glared at her with anger before removing my face.“It wasn't my fault, Ma'am. I had wanted to…” I was still trying to explain but she interrupted me, almos
