บททั้งหมดของ Alpha's regret: Omega's second chance: บทที่ 61 - บทที่ 70

Niklaus' POVThe duel would be happening tonight, and from the way Valerie was acting, it was like she had already concluded that it was the day I would die. She had been totally restless, she didn't even sleep last night.Right now, we were in the living room, together with the full pack house. Jamie, Carrie, Damien, Amelia, Marcel, David, Dante, Fredrick, even Sophia. A few elders were also here. We were presently discussing plans and possible outcomes. Even Amelia seemed to be concerned for me, which was new. She should be happy. If I get taken down, her son would have a chance of becoming Alpha like she had always wanted."You no you have no choice but to kill that bastard tonight." Damien's voice echoed, thick and firm, leaving no room for argument. Just like Valerie, he was worried that Ronald would be up to something that we might not see coming. He already worked before hand to provide men at every corner in case there was a rogue attack. He even met with the Gamma's of the su

Ronald's POVWhen I said that I did not intend to fight with Niklaus until I was certain that I would win, I meant it, no matter what it took. The syringe I had with me contained liquid wolfsbane mixed with poison that would weaken or might even kill him. It was the same poison that rogues used in the Silvermist pack, but it had been modified. The stupid Alpha Christian took that from me unfortunately, but I had another ace under my sleeves. My sister, Solana, had been away since she was a child. I didn't want her close because I didn't trust her. She was born with supernatural abilities that I couldn't begin to make sense of, and now, I was time to put those abilities to use.She didn't even think or ask questions when I told her what I needed from her. She just accepted because she didn't want to see me fall. For a moment, I thought Solana had abandoned me. Niklaus had practically turned me to a ragdoll, and I swear, I could not feel some parts of my body anymore. I was just about t

Niklaus' POVI shifted into my wolf, as I was stronger this way and it would help me heal faster, before running to join Marcel and the others in finding Adeline. Marcel told me that she was held captive in the Blood moon pack, and now that the pack belonged to me, they would not dare take my sister as hostage. Unless they have a death wish.I got to the pack in a few minutes, ignoring the eyes staring at my large wolf. I was rolling out my Alpha aura, and everyone's knew better than to approach me.I didn't stop, until I got to the place Marcel told me Adeline was— the pack's dungeon. That bastard had the audacity to throw her in there. But the moment I got there, the sight I met caught me off guard. My four brothers were here already, together with Alpha Andrew, Alpha Killian, Jared— Amara's mate, and some other of our pack's warriors. They were in a full blown battle, right in front of the dungeon.I shifted to my human form, while one of the men threw clothes at me. They always ha

Niklaus' POV I didn't know how I was going through function tonight. One moment, I thought it was finally over. I planned to discuss the situation with the Blood moon pack with my Beta, Gamma and some trusted elders, before deciding what to do. But now... I had known Amara all my life, and I had never seen her broken down like this. Damien picked her up, while my brothers carried Jared's lifeless body. "Where are you taking her?" I asked Damien. "To the pack house. I am not living her all alone in her house." He said, and I nodded in agreement. His eyes were red rimmed, like he was trying to hold back his own tears. Jared was a warrior under him. He had always been loyal, selfless, easy going, and he was good at what he does. But I knew that he was also saddened because of Amara, since he loved her... He had always loved her. Valerie was holding on to me tightly, her face buried in my chest as she cried silently. I ran my hand through her back, trying to give her whatever comfor

Ronald's POVI was stuck in this dark place for goddess knows how long, held strongly by these thick chains. I had struggled against them over and over again to no avail. The chains were strong and made to hold powerful wolves, even Alphas. Maybe I might has managed to escape, but the sick Gamma here kept coming to check on me.Check? That was a way of putting it lightly.I was basically a ragdoll in his sight. He was even more obsessed with dealing with me than Niklaus was, like he had a personal vendetta against me. My whole body was opened and covered with whip marks and cuts from hot knives or any metal he could find. He would not let the old wounds heal before inflicting new ones.As if I wasn't going through enough already, a pain suddenly hit my chest, and I knew that Valerie was wrapped up in Niklaus' arms. But this was a different kind of pain. It had always hurt so bad, but this right here, this was hell, my body was on fire.I could only think of one reason. The bastard fin
