บททั้งหมดของ Becoming The Werewolf Queen : บทที่ 21 - บทที่ 30

Esmeralda POVThere was pin drop silence almost immediately after she said that, I couldn’t wrap my head around what she said at first, I was so lost on what she meant at first.Killian was as confused as I was, he looked at her with a bit of confusion on his face.“Like you back? What do you mean?” He asked her.Lily was unsettled, she looked like she had been having a lot of mental and physical struggle for a while now, she looked really disarrayed.“I like you, Killian. I’ve always liked you and only you. Scratch that, I don’t just like you, I love you. I’ve fallen head over heels in love with you.” Lily said, running her hand through her already scattered hair. That was the moment I realized what she was trying to say. I pinched myself really hard just to make sure that I wasn’t in dream land or something. It wasn’t, it was reality. Lily was in love with Killian, and she had been in love with him for a long time.“Do you even know what you’re saying? Are you aware of who you’re ta

Killian POV My beast has always been a very sacred part of me, it was so sacred that I had to lock it away. My wolf on its own was powerful, but the beast was another thing entirely.I’ve not allowed it to take over my body completely yet because I feared that it might kill the pack members I gathered together by myself. The beast recognized no one, he saw everyone as his enemy, no one was familiar to him.I should have known that there was something wrong when he recognized her as we laid our eyes on her. I really thought she was just a spy and that was the reason he was unsettled about her.Till now, I didn’t know why I didn’t send her out or kill her after I’ve concluded that she was a spy. A lot of things started making sense to me, she had always been different from other females to me.But the fact that my wolf didn’t recognize her as our mate made me annul that thought. But then again, I never for once thought that the beast had a mate. It was ruthless, it had no soul.I stare

Esmeralda POV My heart dipped as I heard those words, I felt weak from within instantly.“You’re right, I think she has held him down with a spell or something. I just don’t understand why anyone would want to shoulder the responsibility of a child he knows nothing about. There’s something wrong somewhere.” Her friend said.“And the fact that they’re not mates just makes this more suspicious. If they were mates, they’d have known since the time she got here, so they’re definitely not mates.” Aurora said.My scent wasn’t concealed at the moment and that meant that they knew I could hear all that they were saying. They knew I was right behind the door yet they continued talking, intending to hurt me.Anger coursed through me, I couldn’t hold myself anymore and I just barged into the restroom. They didn’t even look shocked at all which just meant that I was right, they knew I was right behind the door.“Do you guys have a life at all? Tell me, is your main goal in life chasing after som

Esmeralda POV My mind was a very jumbled place, I felt like being away from the pack for a while. I felt a lot of things but I was more angry at Killian for jumping into conclusion just like that, he didn’t even hear from me at all.But seeing Lily talk to me made me go from being angry to being confused. She was ignoring me, why then did she talk to me and was acting like everything was okay between us?“Can I talk to you for a second?” She asked me.“You’re talking to me now?” “I wasn’t fighting with you to begin with, you did nothing to me. Can we talk, please?” She asked, her voice sounding so calm and relaxed.“Okay.” I replied then walked out of the house with her behind me. I stopped at a quiet place outside, the spot where most people just sit down and relax. There was no one in sight so it was the most suitable place for us to have the conversation.“How are you doing?” She asked me, going first.I was still very shocked, she was acting like everything that happened didn’t

Thorne POV I watched as my warriors fought one another, each of them fighting with so much fervor and strength. They all knew I was watching them and what that meant. If I noticed anyone slacking, they might be demoted. But what they didn’t know was that I wasn’t really watching them. My eyes were on them, but my mind wasn’t. I had zoned out the moment I got here. A lot of things just made me feel like crashing out so badly. I had underrated the ‘King’ position so much that everything I was facing came as a shock. My father had held back from telling and showing me a lot of things while he was training me because he thought he’d still be in power in the background while I was known as the king to everyone.I just didn’t know why he handed over when he knew he wouldn’t let go of power yet.I was dragged out of thoughts when I saw one of my pack members walk over to me. She looked around, almost as if she was trying to avoid someone, or hide from them.“Good morning, your majesty.” Sh
