Adira's pov,It was 7pm, and I was awake staring at my laptop that was on the light wooden table. While staring at my laptop screen, I also stared at the gold wristwatch in my hand. I had put the wristwatch up for sale this evening after much thought about it, because I needed enough money to leave the city and go to Cindaly. I have been staying at Aunt Becky's house for an entire month, and since she and Joseph had noticeably helped me heal my wounds, I decided it was time for me to move on and become the greatest version of myself.
