MIAThe last thing I expected was that Keith would kiss me, and I certainly didn’t think it would send shivers through my entire body.Starting from my lips, all the way through my body, and eventually resting between my legs.Keith parted my teeth with his tongue and I didn’t resist. I allowed him to kiss me, long and hard and deep.He sucked.Nibbled.Took charge.Bit lightly. And he explored every part of my mouth with his tongue. I couldn’t tell if this was how kisses generally were, but this was thrilling and arousing, and by God, I didn’t want it to end!I had no idea that anyone could enjoy kissing this much, and for the very first time, I felt butterflies in my stomach. They were doing the happy dance and fluttering all over my stomach, and I surrendered to Keith, just the way my lips and body had also surrendered to him. Then someone cleared their throat from behind me.At first, I thought I was hallucinating because I was having so much fun just standing there and allowing K

KEITHMuch later that day, I went to my study to check the papers and documents to see if Mia had obeyed my instruction of putting them back to where she took them from.I stopped at the and conversed with the guard in charge of that part of the hallway.“Have you been here all night and all day?” I asked him.“Yes, boss,” he answered diligently.“Are you sure?” I asked him, using a deeper voice because I wanted him to be sure of his response.“I am positive, boss,” he insisted.“Then how did Mia get into this study in the early hours of this morning?” I asked her.He looked stoned, but that wasn’t what I wanted. I wanted answers.“Answer me!” I barked at him.“Um…” he tried, but he just wasn’t getting the words right.“Were you here the whole night or did you leave at some point to sleep off?” I asked, sounding sterner this time around.“I didn’t go to sleep, boss,” he began to confess. “I left to relieve myself, and it was just for a few minutes, I swear it,” he said, desperately wa

KEITH “Come here, boy,” my dad, Edward Zachary, had commanded me.I was still shaking from what I had seen; my mama’s brains splattered on the ground and her dead body a lifeless heap. The image of my dad bashing her head against the wall and her body taking her last horrifying breath before it crumpled to the ground.“Come here, Keith!” My dad had barked when I didn’t move.It had been three hours after the incident, or maybe four, I couldn’t really tell, and he hadn’t shown any remorse whatsoever. Instead, he had gone to the dining table with a bottle of rum, and sat on the exact chair my mum had sat on right before he came, and had gulped down the rum, as though he was trying to reward himself for a job well done.I shakily went to him, afraid for my life. I hadn’t witnessed anything of that sort before, and the first time, it had to be my mum, right after she had sobbed and tried to tell me something.“Why are you shaking like a feeling leaf?” He asked me angrily. Then I had burs

KEITH Again, I didn’t have the chance to mourn. I stood there contemplating on whether to hide in the bathroom or go out to the living room. But when I thought about my dad’s threat and the venom and danger in his eyes, I knew that I couldn’t stay back in the bathroom. Slowly, gently, I went out.“I called since,” my dad was saying to the cops when I walked into the living room.“Is that your son?” The cop asked when he saw me, ignoring my dad’s statement.I was shaking. As much as I tried to act as my dad would have wanted it, I couldn’t help it. When he asked the question, my dad turned to look at me, and I saw the fire in his eyes.He was enraged and disappointed with me.“Yes, he is,” my dad answered, turning to the cop. “If y’all had gotten here in time, the shit wouldn’t have gotten him so badly, and now, he is all shaken up,” my dad complained, twisting the situation.“Where is the emergency?” The cop asked, ignoring my dad’s statement again.Indeed, they really didn’t give a

KEITH Reminiscing on the past brought back all the rage that I had buried deep inside. My veins tightened with venom and bitterness, and I wished that I could get a hold of the bastard, Edward Zachary, and make him pay for everything. To think that he was roaming the earth freely even made it worse.I didn’t do anything to make him rot behind bars years ago, and even now that I had the power to snuff life out of him, I didn’t.When I heard that he was getting married, I had been enraged. After giving false narrative about my mum’s death and tarnishing her name even in death, he had had the audacity to move on to another woman. Then I had made plans to make his life a living hell. However, I had gone to the wedding reception venue, and my intentions had changed completely when I set eyes on his stepdaughter, my stepsister, Mia Atwoods, and once again, I hadn’t done what I was supposed to do.“One day, Edward Zachary, you will pay for your sins just the way I made Von Quavo pay for his
