I turned around to see a very familiar face."You are Jason's girlfriend. The model." I replied, recalling her face. She smiled and nod her head. "Indeed. It has been a very long time since we last met." She said and looked around."I forgot to introduce myself. The name is Kayla." She extended her arm for a handshake and I held it firmly."Uhm, about that time..." She said, touching the back of her neck and looking down."If you are talking about Jason and yourself in bed then you have nothing to worry about." I replied assure her with a convinced smile."Thank goodness." She said clutching her chest and sighing in relief. "Jason and I have a very complicated relationship. It is almost like he only cares for himself and not me."I did not know what to

Astria Pov"After we finished the first round of the fight, I went to take my sit at the corner and the captain comes to give out specific instructions, I was handed a cup of water to drink." I narrated to all of them and they paid close attention to everything that I was saying."Did you see the person?" Alaric asked."I was too distracted with what the captain was saying and I did not see the face." I replied, closing my eyes and making attempt to see if I could recognize the face that I wanted to see but none could come to mind."This must be Lyra at work." Dawson announced, turning his head to look at Alaric . "You are a father now and I understand that the new role of Rudolph as Alpha in your pack is bothering you, but I think we need to make sure that Astria is safe.""What about the tournament, is it done?" Lyra Pov"I came here for an alliance." I said to the man holding up a smoking pipe in his hand. He placed the large object on the ground and looked at me."An alliance with a witch. Do you think I will be dumb to listen to you?" He asked."I understand that you are angry. Kieran did so many things to you and never got to apologize for his wrong doings. But I assure you that even now you are most needed." "What do you want?" He asked, reaching down to his pipe."I know how you hate Alpha Kieran . I can assure you that there is a way your thirst for revenge can be solved." As he listened, I spoke confidently."He took everything away from me. Because of Kieran I don't have a place to stay and I cannot believe he would call me his most trusted ally and do that to me." He replied, folding his fist in anger.I stretched my arm forward with my eyes focused on his sword beside him.The sword vanished and O'Riley pushed his pipe away, choking on his smoke and seeing the magic that has just

She had helped her fight through the pack."I definitely will. You all should stay safe and come back alive. I will be sad if anything happens to any of you". Lawrence stated to her friends."Once again, I say thank you for coming to our pack and I will say this; I am forever grateful for the wonderful gift you all have given to me" Alaric said holding the maid's closer to himself and staring at her in admiration. "Thank you Alaric, for having us into your pack. We would forever remember your kind gesture and we do hope that you ensure that your pack is protected against the plague of witches" Kaidon said. Need I remind you that I am the most powerful in Darkwood and any one, who comes in and goes out of Darkwood, I have knowledge of it?" Alaric boasted, while Astria simply kept mute.Due to the presence of Fred, Alaric didn't do anything.
