THIRD POV As they drove in, they were stopped at a second gate where the guards there searched their car to make sure there was nothing incriminating inside it. Finally, they were given access into the main walls of the estate. Ella felt her jaw drop at the sight that stood before her. The buildings were too magnificent to be real. The houses in the estate were not much, but one was enough to house fifty people! If not more! She could not believe her eyes, she couldn't peel her gaze off the magnificent buildings. The driver's voice pulled her back to her senses. "Ma'am." He called her name softly. "Which one is your sister living? I don't know how to locate it." "Oh! Oh uhm… allow me to give her a call."She finally called Blaire and they were asked to wait while someone came to pick them up. The man that was sent to pick them up directed them to a more quiet and richly furnished part of the estate. Apparently, only the vvip members lived there. As she got down from the car, sh

THIRD POV Blaire flinched at the sudden outburst. She was taken aback by Ella's action. "What did he do to you?" She could not help but to ask. For some reason, she was still worried about Ella even after everything Ella had done to her. Ella realized she had been swayed by her emotions. She blinked and swallowed. "What?" "What did Damian do to you?" She clarified. Ella shook her head. "That's none of your business. Forget everything I said. Tell me why you called me here, it is certainly not to quench my thirst for knowledge about you." "Obviously." Blaire responded. "I wanted to go straight to the point anyway. I know that you hate me because your father cared about me." Ella's eyes widened. "How do you–""Like I said, your mother betrayed you for a few millions." Ella cursed underneath her breath. She tried to keep acting tough. "So what? Do you feel sorry for what you did to me?" Blaire let out a laugh. Almost like she was mocking Ella. "Sorry? I guess I do. I feel sorry

She seemed like she was lost in her thoughts for a moment. Her eyes wandered around the room as if searching for answers to a question that was asked only in her head. Then she suddenly glared at me, flames burning in her eyes as rage made her clench her fist. "Whatever it is you are trying to achieve, just forget it. Whatever is running through your head right now, it's too late for any of that. "I'm in the wrong?" She scoffed a laugh with a roll of her eyes. "Hey, she isn't just your mother, she is my mother too. She gave birth to me so I have equal rights to her like you do–" "Equal? Is this what you call equal? Taking her away from me is what you call equal?" I squinted my eyes, trying to see the sense behind her words. She let out a laugh filled with so much scorn and evil. "Hey, open your eyes, will you? Take her away from you? I did no such thing. She threw you away with her own hands because you were a cheap knock off of the useless man she gave her heart to at first–"Ang

THIRD POV Tears trailed uncontrollably down her face, washing off her make up. She didn't know how long she was there, but something urged her to rise to her feet. Her knees buckled, the sudden ache spreading all through her body. Her legs were starting to grow numb. She knew it was time to stand up or else the pain would get worse. "That's not a pretty sight to see." A voice said from behind her. She turned around and to her surprise, Damian was standing there with his hands buried in the depth of his pants pockets and a smug smile on his handsome face. Driven by rage, she rushed towards him and sent her palm across his face. "You disgusting filthy liar!" She spat out in his face. The smile on Damian's face slipped off like a mask and when he turned his head to meet her gaze again, what she saw in them made her take a sudden step backwards. He licked the inside of his lower lips and winced softly. "That stung." He said with a dangerous smirk on his face. His eyes had drained

I couldn't let it show how much it had hurt me to hear those words. They were right after all, what difference would be between my mother and I if I let the same thing repeat itself?I looked up at him and managed a smile. "Could you please just… maybe play along? I don't want to break her little heart.""Hey." He moved closer to me and cupped my face in his palm. "I will do whatever for you. Don't worry. Besides, I care about Gemma too and the last thing I would ever want is to break her fragile heart." A sad smile curved on my lips. As the heated conversation came to an end, my attention returned to his clown-like make up and I chuckled. "You don't know what you look like." A smile tugged at his lips and he whispered into my ear. "My make up is prettier than yours." I hit him on the chest playfully and we both shared a laugh. The rest of the day went by so quickly. I had spent so much time sorting the documents for work while also trying to make myself available for Gemma. The
