Danika's POVAll of us goes silent as Hunter staggers back while the man who punched him hadn't moved, staring him down.I look at Hunter whose eyes stared in a daze, and shakes his head as he has his ass handed to him. He shakes like a whole bucket of ice water was splashed over his head. Then walking up to the man, he stops to stand in front of him all imposing, while clenching and unclenching his fists by his sides."What the hell is your problem?" he growls out and the man who looked so serious after punching his alpha I see curl his lips."Glad you asked, 'Alpha'," he acknowledged yet in the most insulting way possible before he continues, "First off. We are starving. There haven't been enough food for everyone for days and we are not allowed to out of the borders to hunt," he says in a voice that sounds like he is growling all the time. The man is tall and a hunk, but the bags under his eyes and the restlessness on his face stood out more in overall appearance.Hunter scoffs."W

DanikaBeta Robert pulled over a building. It was quite dirty on the outside and the corridors had bulbs that are not working, resulting to me having to use my night vision to see through the dark corridor. My senses were high on alert as I watched Beta Robert walk right ahead, leading me to his apartment. Suddenly, I am regretting my decision to come with him. 'Uh, I think this is a bad idea,' I whisper to none other than my wolves. They both shrug which had me raising a brow at each of them. It's the first time they seemed so indifferent compared to my panic state at the moment. Well, if he tries anything, then I'll fight my way out no matter the cost.Beta Robert stops at a door and pulls out his keys. He opens it and the door creaks loudly, before turning to me with a smile."Well, come in," he says not waiting for me to respond as he walks into his own apartment. I swallow the lump in my throat and slowly make my way inside. My eyes scan the whole apartment. It's a quaint apart

Danika"Uh, what is going on?" I voice my confusion and Regina looks at me and face palms herself in stupid realization."Oh, silly me. I knew you have no idea about the absolute monster you are hiding with your moon blessing but that's why I am here," she shrugs and pulls me to the living room couch. It is my turn to shriek as I remember the plates I have shattered in my shock as she whipped me with something strong. I have no idea what that was.But as soon as she pushes me and I step backwards I am expecting shards to dig into my feet only to feel nothing. Glancing behind me, I see that the plate I was holding was set on top of the table, and I blink."Oh don't worry about it. I got you," she says, making me look back at her in confusion now."Sit. Sit." she tells me and my eyes narrow at her. Nevertheless, I plop my a*s down the comfy couch and almost sigh as the surface molds and I feel my a*s sink. She sits right next to me and takes my hand in hers."As you know, you have power

Danika"So, where are we going?" I ask her as she leads me to the living room, avoiding the door which leads right outside the apartment. My eyebrow is raised the entire time, watching her as she walks into the kitchen, coming out with a water bottle in hand while pocketing something in her jeans."Oh, you'll see," she smiles and I raise my brow.Beta Robert stands by, leaning against the wall and for the past few minutes have been staring longingly at Regina.Regina takes a stand next to me when Beta walks up behind her and wraps her in his big, muscled arms. He buries his nose in her neck, inhaling as much scent as he can from his mate. Regina runs her fingers through his hair repeatedly, and I feel my stomach gut as jealousy and my own longing for my mates seep into me."It's okay. I'll be fine," she whispers and I turn away. After a few more convincing Beta Robert finally let her go and Regina walks back to stand next to me."You ready?" She looks at me and offers me her hand. I

DanikaRegina links her arm with mine, and I am surprised by how easy she seems to be around me when just a few moments ago she was trying to rip me a new one when I touched her mate. I guess when I saved her all that was erased from her mind and now she sees that I am not a threat. In fact, she seems to be adamant in calling me her queen. Whatever that means.I am not sure how to go about this, since she just proved to me how knowledgeable she is with her magic and seems to insinuate more could be done from it.At the kingdom, they all but wield their magic and do whatever with it, but nothing that really sets them apart and why that is I have no clue."Cora, there you are!" Regina squeals and I look up as Cora appears before us again. She seems to have a permanent scowl on her face every time she looks at me or maybe she is just born with it.I try to ignore her and focus on the two older women with long hair reaching their ankles making their way over to me.They both have a silver
