ALINA'S POV The nerves of that witch. That absolute...witch! I had surgery? Surgery??? Like I could afford that! I already knew she was wealthy, her family were wealthy, they had been, always been and looks like they'd continue to be! They were in the fucking news! Did she not know I wasn't rich like her? That my family wasn't and isn't right now?? Come to rub in my face about cosmetic surgeries... she's had numerous I'm sure! How about she go pop something bloody and huge right out of her and see if she won't look different! "Stupid brat!" I cussed, annoyed still. "You're still mad? C'mon, it's been hours already!" Cleo pushed, laughed playfully. "I bet she's somewhere eating some expensive shit and you're mopping over a conversation you clearly won. If it is as you told me." "It is exactly how I told you." I clarified, "Why will I lie?" She smiled, pouring a drink. Another glass. "We should celebrate then!" She said, Cleo. "First time, bad Lina came out and put

ROMAN'S POV The meeting day came fast. Just as I hoped, and for it, I cleared my entire schedule. "They've arrived, boss." Jordan informed me half time into my estimated time. "She too?" I asked, making sure. "Is she present there?" "She's been there waiting since 30 minutes ago. Two of the clients only just arrived." Remaining one then. Good. Very good. "We'll be on our way in 20." I told him, eyes closed. Smoke in hand, relaxing. My feet on the table, throat just dragging in the satisfaction, the sheer goodness combined with the feeling that comes when things just works out for you. You know? That feeling. Not like she stood any chance though. I covered all the basics, down to the restaurant we were meeting today. I could right now picture her face all surprised, stance uneasy when she'll see us today. Same thing she felt after receiving that email last night, about today's meeting. 'Impromptu meeting.' If you get what I mean. "You have been assigned t

ALINA'S POV He laughed. Coming over, "You- "Stay away from me!" I snapped, moving away. Putting more distance between us. "Did you want it to be you?" He asked, taunt. "All those things you heard...were you mad it wasn't you? That it wasn't you I was going around with, going out with, taking pictures, talking to people- "Stop. Stop saying it," I warned, glared. "You're out of your damn mind if you think that I want you, that I still want you. I don't. I didn't, and I will not, you two timer!" I sat back down then. Huffing and pulling myself together, scolding that I even let him get under my skin and get a reaction out of me. The rain still fell outside. Heavy. Loud against our ears if the entire building wasn't soundproofed like he said. And there he stood. Stood a quarter half towards me, staring at me. No words. Then he said something, "I never planned it." "What?" I turned, "You never planned what?" "I never planned on anything, everything that happened between

Roman's POV She didn't respond to my texts, but she did read them. I knew she did. Whatever the case, I sure wasn't hanging around until I got a confirmation. I was going to go to her. Get it out of her. "No one comes through." I spoke as I walked past. Steps heading down the path in the slightly dim hallway. The same place she was seen at, confirmed to be busy at by Jordan. While he stood guard at the front, I went in deep, scanning and looking over corners, rooms in the hallway. Everywhere silent, but eventually. I spotted a black dressed ass bent over a few stuff in the corner, seemingly busy and not sensing another's presence at all. Her. "Fucking seductress." I muttered, feet moving already before I even thought twice about anything. Only one thing was on my mind anyways. I reached the corner, blocked the exit and wrapped my arms around that waist. A startled, shocked gasp stifling out. Panic at first then recognition as she saw it was me. "You...what are you doing?" She w

ALINA'S POVI set out soon after that. Soon after going to the bathroom and washing myself clean, putting on some spray or something. Anything not to smell like I was dying to have sex.But that was the easy part. Getting him, finding him, was the hard and worst part. And don't get me started on where exactly it should happen. The sex I mean.Where?"How is it that he can do it so easily and I can't?" I muttered to myself, looking at the hallway he normally used but somehow hasn't shown himself in the span of two hours that I've been watching.'Looks like you're going to have to text him.' my mind said, reminding me of all the unanswered texts in my phone.I sighed.Looking at the time again at my wrist. "4;21 pm." I murmured, seeing it'll be closing hours soon. I didn't even have Oxygen tonight either.I walked back up to my office. Stalling. But eventually, I did it.Shamelessly did."You free? Let's meet." I sent out. Dropping the phone right after, turning it upside down. Almost l
