Eliana's POV As Professor Matthews prepared his things before addressing the class, I kept my eyes on him, watching his every movement.How could he look so peaceful after what he did? Derrick's POV Annabelle Thorne surprised me. Our conversation had been brief and easy but what surprised me was that she had agreed to meet me at all. I'd seen her moving around with Eliana and I knew she was my best bet if I wanted to get across to her. Although her attention was mostly directed at the boys playing on the court, she was responsive enough and she answered most of my questions. “When do you think I will be able to talk to her?” I asked her, ready to go. Derrick's POV I looked in the rearview mirror for the fifth time in two minutes. Still nothing. I glanced back at the screen of my phone. Her last text was eight minutes ago. It was the day after Annabelle had informed me that she had agreed to talk to me and I had gotten to her apartment building at exactly nine p.m, as we had discussed. Was she no longer coming? The knock on the door came again and he muttered something inaudible as he rolled off of me and got off the bed. Clad only in his underwear, he slowly made his way over to the door and I pulled the sheets up to cover my bare breasts. The interruption reminded me of the day in the car when the security guard had done the same thing, cutting short the pleasure that Professor Matthews' hand and mouth had promised me.
