Nova’s POV8 days later and every trial was done and I couldn’t form the words to express how I feel now if I tried. I don’t have the energy to think them. As I lay stretched out on my bed I am physically sore, somehow, from the mental exertion this week has been.It has been just as predicted. The same thing over and over again. Walking into that witness box as the victim while various facsimiles of the vulture picked me apart and tried to use my trauma against me, twisting it to try and make me a villain.
